Hi everyone!
For today's activity, we will be doing a self-esteem checkup to see where how high or low our self-esteem is and how we can improve it!
Activity
Rate from 0 to 5 how much you believe each statement. 0 means you do not believe it and 5 means you completely believe it.

It depends on if I got to choose who the other person was. In some cases I would say yes and in other cases I would say no.

It depends on how it is presented. If it is an attack, then I probably won’t handle it well. If it is presented in most any other way, I’ll probably take it well.

It depends on the size of the mistake and what it entails. My life is very delicate right now and requires walking on eggshells.
For the scale at the bottom, I would rate myself at a 2.5 at the highest.
In order for me to be a 4 on the scale, I would have to be able to tell people in my life to “... off” and not need them ever again and not worry about any consequences.
Im working on boundary too, to say no in polite way

2. I am just as valuable as other people - I know I should value myself more, but despite that awareness, it's still at a 0.5
3. I would rather be me than someone else - Yikes! That feels like a direct attack at me XD cause in the past some years, I've grown rather insecure of myself, and always thought the other person, ANYBODY who isn't me, is better than me, and I should try to imbibe their traits, so I'd become more likeable (ik that probably sounds pathetic but I'm trying to accept it, and work on it), so I'd give it a 0

I can handle criticism - Meh, sometimes it's easier, when they phrase it in a proper way, not in an attacking way, but more like trying to show you something so you can rectify it, and sometimes, I can handle them when they're not too public, so that bystanders can make their judgements, so I'd give it a 3.5

Not caring about anyody's opinion of me, and accepting myself as I am, flaws and all.

Total Score = 46
Overall, I'd give myself a 4 for self esteem. But I'm 50 now and have already gone through the years of feeling terrible inadequate, of having self-image issues, and of allowing people to make me feel less about myself, so I've had a long time to grow into not giving a @#$@#$@ what people think of me now. :)

Overall, I guess I would rate myself a 3, which is a lot comparing to how I felt a few months ago, it has been a very long road and months or working on myself to feel better and be good at my job and I would say it's worth it.
I'm still trying to compliment myself each day and give myself more credit for my knowledge and the things I'm good at, still trying to recognize I'm worthy. Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy and my insecurities can be my only obstacle really, so I'm really working on that.

I think I need more time to get more comfortable in my own skin, to learn more about who I am, what's important to me, and developing better boundaries. I have a lot to learn and work on about life and myself first.
