Yes it does. Acid would be the means you are using to self harm. It's no different than using a blade or a knife

yes it does, if it is inflicted by yourself it does count, using acid to harm yourself is practically the same as using anything else.

Yes because you harm your body by doing this... And you'll experience pain from using acid on any part of your body it's extremely corrosive ...

Yes. Self-harm means harming oneself. That means that anything that you do to yourself to intentionally harm yourself is self-harm.

Yes as you are still causing harm to your body purposefully. Scratching yourself can be classed as selfharm

yes. any time somebody does something to hurt themselves on purpose is self-harm. if you are hurting yourself, there are things you can do, like reaching out to a friend or family member, talking to a therapist or doctor, and using resources like 7 cups
By definition, self-harm is when you hurt yourself as a way to deal with certain feelings. It does not matter in which way you harm yourself for it to be considered self-harm.
Absolutely. Self harm is anything that causes physical harm to yourself. Cutting, bruising, burning, etc. Best of luck.

Using acid to burn yourself, or doing anything else intentionally to cause pain for yourself counts as self harm. I'd really like to encourage you to stop doing this, and use one of the many resources that 7cups has to offer. Anything that you do that leaves marks on yourself or cuases bodily harm is considered self harm becuase you are harming youself

Yes hurting yourself in anyway counts as self harm if it was intentional this is a serious issue and if you do harm yourself you should check in with a therapist here at seven cup.

yes using acid does count as self harm. The reason why is because you burning you skin and hurting it.
anything that involves physical pain could count as self-harm if it's purpose is to relieve you from emotional pain. with that being said the most important thing is your health so if you're going through self-harm talk to someone, whether it's a parent, 7 cups listener or a therapist!

I would say it is. Any form of hurting yourself on purpose counts as self-harm. What makes you do that? Is for the lack of control over something in your life?
It's ok. There are many other people who has their own reasons to self-harm. Know that self-harm it's the symptom of something else.
simple answer is yes. any form of self inflicted pain...whether physical emotional or mental can be classified as self harm.
Anything that you do intentionally on multiple occasions to hurt yourself is considered self-harm. It's important that you stop before you get started. Once you do it, you will become addicted and it will seriously damage your health.
