Burning yourself is not okay! Of course, that is considered self-harm. Pouring chemicals onto your body is very damaging. There are so many things to look forward to in life. Life is a bumpy road, but it's so much better when you go through it with somebody. Call out for help! Let someone know what you're going through.

Yes, yes, yes...yes. Self harm is inflicting pain or harm on yourself. It doesn't matter the way you do it or how. You giving harm THAT YOU DONT DESERVE intentionally. I Know its short but that's all that's needed
If it's intentional, yes. Anything that you do to hurt yourself physically or emotionally while in pain can qualify as self-harm (in my opinion). If I turn on a song that I know makes me feel worse, I would count that as self harm. Just like picking at old scabs for the purpose of hurting yourself falls under self-harm, so does burnint yourself with acid. We have a large subcommunity of people who are willing to stand by you as you overcome self-harm. There are many other ways to cope, so consider those before hurting yourself. You're a beautiful individual and deserve everything in the world. :)
Everything that's done on a purpose of hurting yourself is a self-harm. It doesn't have to be just cutting.
Of course. Because you want to harm yourself.. you need to talk about problems that you are facing in your life to your doctor or friend instead of harming yourself.
Yes... It is... Self harm means hurting oneself by any physical means... And my friend.. I don't understand you this thought came across your brain.. stay safe..
The use of a substance or object with the intention of causing harm to your body is considered self-harm. So yes, burning yourself with acid does count as self harm.
Yes, it does. Any form of action that you purposely do to hurt yourself is classed as self-harm no matter what you use to do so.
Anything that is self inflicted that gives you pain is considered under the umbrella term of self-harm. Depending on why you have been doing this behavior can help find the root of the problem, and talking to somebody about that can help the urge to burn yourself with acid decrease.
Yes. Self destruction in any form counts as self harm, from direct physical immediate damage to less direct means like substance abuse or high-risk damaging behaviors. If you are struggling with any battle against a desire to harm yourself, you should seek out a professional for direct help. You're worth it, I promise.

yes. any act of doing something to yourself to take away emotional pain or to hurt yourself is considered self harm
Anytime that you do something to hurt yourself purposely, it counts as being self harm. Even if you’re not using a ‘traditional’ method to do so, you’re intentionally hurting yourself, which is self-harming.
Every way of hurting yourself is self harm. Understanding that you have a problem and need to try to get better is really important. Talking about it can help.
Using acid to burn yourself does count as self-harm. Self-harm is deliberately hurting yourself in any way, including burns. The best thing to do is get help.
I would think so :(
our body is our temple, we need to take care of it. I think the only technical self harm we should do to ourselves is working out, If you want to feel burning sensations may i consider doing some stretches when you feel the need to self harm? It burns, and it's healthy.
