(TW: self harm) Yes using anything to inflict pain upon yourself is considered self harm. Self harm is not limited to cutting or burning with a lighter. Please speak to a experienced listener in self harm if you feel like doing it again.

Yes it does. Anything you do to intentionally harm yourself, counts as self harm. It's not just cutting or hitting yourself, it's also for example burning yourself with acid.
Yes, any self inflicted injury counts as self harm regardless of the implement, Burning does count as self harm.
Any act of self-harm is just that, harming yourself on purpose. The main acts of self-harm people see and know about it cutting, bruising, or burning themselves. If you are using acid to burn yourself, yes, that is a form of self-harm.
Using any tool, if you are hurting yourself physically as a result of coping mechanism towards unpleasant emotions, it counts as self-harm. The way you choose doesn't have to be widely known, it definitely counts as self-harm.

It does. Burning and cutting yourself are two major self harm issues. It's important to seek help immediately if this is a common thing that you're doing. You don't want to get an infection from the burn nor do you want to be scarred.
It does count! Just because you are not cutting, does not mean your self harm is less real or less valid. Self harm happens in many different forms. Some abuse drugs and alcohol, some never look when they are crossing the street and some use acid to burn themselves.
Any bodily harm that you are inflicting upon yourself is self-harm, and is dangerous. Remember, cutting is not the only form of self-harm, it just happens to be the most popular one. Please reach out and get help, sooner than later before things get much worse.

Self-harm (SH), also known as self-injury, is defined as the intentional, direct injuring of body tissue, done without suicidal intentions.
If it was done intentional without suicidal intentions it might be classified as self-harm.

Yes of course. Whatever you do to hurt yourself on purpose is considered as self harming. I think even thinking about some certain things can be considered self harming
Yes it does. It affects your well being and it does hurt you. Therefore the word "self-harm". Acid is usually worse than other options, so I would recommend to not do it.
Of course! Any type of self-inflicted harm is self-harm no matter the method. If it is you that uses the acid to hurt yourself, or even you telling someone else to use acid on your skin is considered self-harm.
Yes, any form of self inflicted pain as a coping mechanism or form of relief is self harm. People may not be as aware of these less visible forms but they are just the same.
Yes. Whether somebody's cutting, burning, hitting, scratching, or just about anything, any form of harming yourself is considered self-harm.

Yes. Self harm is any kind of self injury to ones self. This can include cutting, burning, scratching, hitting your self, skin picking, hair pulling. Self injures often feel a relief after harming themselves.
Yes, it does. Self-harm is defined to be any behaviour done to deliberately hurt or injure yourself and is usually done as a way to cope with strong feelings.
Yes, it does and i wouldn't recommend it as you could possibly be danger or you could be left with medical issues and burns due to the acid.
It sure does. Purposefully hurting yourself counts as self harm. But please, don't hurt yourself! :)
Yes. Anything you are doing to intentionally hurt yourself counts as self-harm, whether it be burning yourself, cutting yourself, hitting yourself, etc.
Absolutely. In what world would it not? It causes bodily harm, and if done to ones self then it is self-harm by all means. In other countries (think, the Middle East) you hear about women being abused to attacked by acid, and we consider that to be a hate crime, do we not? If it is harmful for someone to do it to another person then it is harmful for someone to do it to themself.

Yes, it does. Anything you do to intentionally harm yourself is considered self-harm. It doesn't matter what the action is, really.
Yes, it does. Any sort of self inflicted harm to your body is considered self-harm, and there are many ways people do so, but yes it is considered self harm in my opinion.
There are a lot of different forms of self-harm. Acid can count as one, and so can hair pulling, hitting yourself, etc. If you or someone you know might be at risk or are currently self-harming, please let someone know. A parent or school counselor would be best. Don't let things get out of control.
Yes - self harm isn't limited to cuts. It can be defined as any type of deliberate injury to oneself.
