✒️ Please list some advantages of a diverse team.

I believe a diverse team could bring various perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table. Moreover, because of the nature of the 7 Cups community, a diverse team could help support people from different parts of the world, either using their first language and to let that person feel understood.

✒️ How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

Always be respectful and acknowledge that others' cultures may be different from our own.

✒️ Please list some advantages of a diverse team.

With a diverse team, there are greater skills, greater ideas, more experience from different perspectives, and a great resource to pull from.

✒️ How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

Recognizing that there are very different language skills due to translation/understanding (ESL), slang may not be understood and could even be offensive, time zones are a big issue, as we are from all over and what is convenient for me may not be convenient for someone else.  So being careful to ask about time zones for meetings such as mock chats, etc. is important to make sure it's not the middle of the night for someone are just a couple examples.

@FrenchToast Some advantages of diverse teams are that there´s more variety of viewpoints, values, opinions, and ways of thinking which fosters more creativity, empathy, and growth. We can be respectful by accepting and valuing that diversity even when their opinions are different from ours. It is highly enriching to understand why someone doesn´t think the way we do and can provide better insight about ourselves as well as improved communication and social skills

Rise above the stereotypes.

the different perspectives can drive innovation.
