Advantages of a diverse team can help strengthen the team through different perspectives on an issue, coming from cultural & personal experience & sharing those perspectives. As well, diversity brings a wider range of skill set to the team, for others to consider, learn from, and find mutual agreement.

 How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

Using simple, non-slang language when conversing, as English may not be first language. Embrace diversity., even if it doesn't align with our values/culture. Ask clarifying questions & be inquisitive of all cultures.

a diverse team is more widely enabled in many facets of active listening. a diverse team collectively knows more languages, cultures, practices, religions and general knowledge that is indespensible when trying to help people all over the world on 7 Cups. diversity means you cater to a wider variety of members.

we can be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups by understanding the member and being empathetic to their situations.

Please list some advantages of a diverse team.

Having a diverse team will allow for different time zones to be covered, this will allow for a lot of areas to be covered 24/7. Another good thing about a diverse team is background not everyone will come from the same background this will allow for different thoughts and opinions on things. 

How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

We can be respectful to other cultures by being mindful of time zones, which would look like seeing what times work best for the majority of the group and understanding not everyone will have the same time. We can also be respectful that not everyone first language is English which may make it harder for folks to understand, we can use simple words or less to no slang to help with this.

🐆 Some of the advantages of a diverse team is that you learn different cultures and backgrounds. What seems bizarre to you may be completely normal to others.

Some advantages of a diverse team are being able to represent and reach People from different cultures and backgrounds from all over the world.  It also reminds us of our common humanity and that despite language differences and cultural issues we are all human beings at the end of the day.  Having a diverse community may also help to ease stereotypes and stigmas and make the site more warm and welcoming from people from all over the world

We can be more respectful of different cultures in 7cups by being open minded and not judging people or trying to make people behave according to put own cultural habits and ideals.  Also having some basic knowledge of other cultures should help as well
