What makes you feel better when the world is falling apart?
It could be anything from a hug to a cuddly plushie or your favorite song or your favorite food ๐ฅฐ

The only thing that reliably takes away the pain is my dog.

@Optimisticempath
My music makes me feel stronger. I have several playlists depending on my moods. Growing up music helped me cope and escape some really tough times.

Music is my secret power. It'll help give me motivation for stuff that I need to get done.
Cleaning and organizing lol. Makes me feel in control of something. And it organizes my space ๐

@Optimisticempath
Coming home to my dog and seeing that happy face.
Coming here and posting my ramblings, that is my only link to staying balanced.
@Iamwhoiamwhoami I like being here too, does feel good to have a safe space
Music helps me get things done, especially when I'm feeling lethargic. And sometimes watching nostalgic stuff feels me feel better.
Being asleep. It's the only time when my chronic ailments don't bother me.
@slowdecline48 I feel that ... it helps being just not there sometimes... sleep is helpful in that way
@Optimisticempath TW: mention of food
My stuffed octopus called Jackie, a cocoon of my favortite soft blankets, my favorite foods: self made yoghurt with banana and avocado toast or talking to someone:)
@Optimisticempath
Playing the piano gives me peace of mind and helps me forget abt everything that's going on in
I remove distractions, focus on the feeling and dive deep into it. I don't mentally identify with it. I ride the wave, embrace it without suppressing, without ignoring, or without doing anything else but create a space for that feeling to completely be. An act of self-love to sit with my feelings.
The peace afterwards is wonderful.
