@ecmcookiez Sorry. Had a technical error. I meant to say that I am learning to not let myself fall victim to thinking traps that mess with my perception of reality. Unless I have evidence, I have no reason to worry about things that I fear are happening or will happen

Victory today was accepting myself and realizing my first step is to heal.

I'm with you. I've pretended to be good and strong and hidden the fact that I'm broken for fear of rejection. Now I am the one who is going to reject those who don't suppport who I am.

Made it to step 115@GlenM

I have discovered that therapy is great for self-reflection, validation, support, and personal growth.

I have discovered that not everything is an internal fault on my part, as if I'm a failure, rather with the right tools and attitude I can make positive changes.

Hopefully, this is also a self-fulfilling prophecy!!!

I learned that small activities on the growth path are decent distractions

Im on step 130 now. I've learned that when people care about other people and humbly share and support each other it slowly makes our lives better as we learn to get along and support others, we develop a much needed purpose and start to care as much about ourselves. Self care, a desire to get better, realistic goals, and learning how to get out of our own way. Fear is an illusion!

It takes time to progress to the person I want to be. Each step was one I didn't take the day before. And I have the ability to keep going.
