4 weeks in hospital🙁🙁 feeling low
4 weeks stuck in hospital 🙁 spent most of the day staring at the ceiling, crying to myself. It was my birthday 3rd November, I had surgery on the 4th.it's thanksgiving in America it seems like there's no one here who wants to talk to me right now. I've been relying on this site to get me through the last few weeks. Several months ago I caught pneumonia, and during that I lost all feeling in my upper left body, (I'm already paralysed from the waist down, they had to amputate my legs a few years ago) but there past couple of months, I've only been able to move my l right arm and head. It's gotten so frustrating at times, and depression is getting harder to fight off. This is my second spine surgery in the past couple of months. My neural passageways are still working for my upper body so the nerves and muscle will heal. And it has been getting better I can move my hand and make a fist and raise my arm just a little bit🙂 I'm also due to have another psychiatrist appointment soon,I have a new psychiatrist who thinks I need a new diagnosis as new symptoms have come up these past couple of years. Anyway depression as hit hard, I won't give up, but I feel like I want to

@Tinywhisper11 I am really sorry to hear about this. I hope you can stay strong, my friend. I hope the doctors can help you and that, they can give you some coping tips and skills for your depression.
I just wanted to let you know, that 7cups has listeners and therapists. So, if you do not get the help you need or you're not liking the treatment for it, you can reach out to them as well.
Also, you can always get a second opinion, from a different doctor as well. If need be.

@mytwistedsoul Whyyyyyy would reindeer take pictures of housetops? Are they in some photograph houses for realtors business? Are they freelancing for Google Earth? And more importantly, they’re flying, shouldn’t they lookout for plans and stuff? 😂
@PineTreeTree With Christmas just being a one day a year gig, more and more of them have had to take up other jobs. I think they have a no-clause contact with Santa for the other 364 fays. So some of them are agents with Frosty Estates Realty or their competitor Polar Properties. I think Rudolph is the only one that does satellite work for Google Earth (his nose can get views at almost 360°!) 😁😂

@Tinywhisper11 I'll tell you a secret :O we can give up from time to time. You can cry, scream about it, have melt down, break down and say how much you hate it over and over again. It's nice sometimes to not have to hold on to the expectations of having to always be the one that shows a brave face.
Somedays we learn about the other kind of bravery, the bravery where when the world felt like it was over and yet we looked up and tried to find a new way to save it all while screaming 'i give up' heh heh. You've saved your amazing world a thousand times, just like how you're doing it now.
