Hi, I'm Hannah but I go by Anne. However, please just call me Hannah. I will be your compassionate and active listener on 7 cups.

If you have any stressors going on with school, work, or your mental health, I can help. I can teach you excellent coping strategies and ways to deal with your emotions.

In addition, I can help you with your disability and ways you can cope with chronic illnesses or mental health issues.

While it is important to talk to me to vent, I’d like to say that my boundaries as a listener are just as important as your boundaries. As a member, you can expect me to respect you and value you both as a person and your time. You can also expect courteous and prompt responses from me. If I’m offline, just send me a message and I’ll reply.

As for my boundaries, please avoid foul language like swear words and heart emojies ( ❤️ ). I’d like you to respect me as a person and avoid inappropriate conversations.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to talk to someone.

Good luck on your journey to recovery! :)

~ Hannah

Seek Therapy for Your Addiction!
Alcohol & Drug Addiction Support / by BeautifulSoulHannah2277

...See more Hi, Everyone!  My name is Hannah but I got by Anne. However, please just call me Hannah. I understand that many of you have concerns about your drug and alcohol addictions and need urgent help. I was going to try and suggest reaching out to a therapist of your own in your local city or county or on 7 cups (needs a referral - send me a message and I can refer you to a therapist on 7 cups). I’ve been doing some thinking about some ways to help people genuinely who struggle dealing with drugs and alcohol addiction and I have found two forms of skills to help them out. First: —> Getting a referral or calling a local DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) center and Second:— > Cognitive Re-structuring. DBT as the name states is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and it helps you cope with addictions and provides short-term therapy and intense treatment care for those of you who have been dealing with your addictions for a long time. On the other hand, cognitive re-structuring is the art of turning your negative thoughts in your mind into positive thoughts. Anyone can practice this skill; however, since many of you have a challenging time staying sober, you will need the help of a therapist to begin practicing this skill. — Please reach out to me on 7 cups if you believe you would benefit from a listener. In the event you are in crisis, please reach out to the National Suicide Hotline (the number is on the internet; please look it up), a local crisis center, a DBT therapist, or a regular therapist. Keep fighting! Stay strong! You got this! Sending you lots of happy thoughts and kindness your way! - Hannah

...See more Hi All, I understand that life can be challenging when living with a disability but that doesn’t mean you can’t live life to the fullest. You deserve everything that’s good in life. Don’t lose hope and don’t give up. You are important to God. He loves you a lot. Every setback in this world makes you strong and resilient. Keep the faith. One day, life will look better and everything will fade. This moment of darkness won’t be here anymore. A new chapter will start and you will be happy you fought the good fight. You got this! Hope this makes your day! Don’t forget to practice good coping strategies like reading a book, going for a walk, journaling, playing a decent video game, or listening to music. Praying helps! If you’re spiritual, of course. Take care! Sending you happy thoughts! - Hannah

Mental Illnesses are Just as Important as Physical Disabilities!

...See more To all of you struggling with one disability over the other, know that you’re not alone. You matter. You’re heard. And you’re welcome in this world full of discrimination and stigmas. A lot of people don’t know that mental health issues or illnesses are just as important as physics disabilities. Some people have one, while others struggle living with both. Because you carry a heavy weight on your shoulders every day of thoughts, emotions, or pain, please don’t feel left out or think that you are different than everyone else. You’re a human just like everyone else. Your disability might be different and bring on a whole new experience. Don’t give up and keep on fighting the good fight! You are loved and cared for! ~ Hannah
