Our Favorite Affirmations
Affirmations are short, generally positive, statements or phrases that can help challenge negative or challenging thoughts. Affirmations work by leading to long-term changes in the way we think and feel, and so many people find them helpful.
While there may be many affirmations you can look up on the internet for several topics, writing your own affirmation for yourself, generally or for a specific challenge, can be powerful on its own.

I will be better than I was yesterday
I am doing my best, and I can improve. (This one is from DBT, and I like it a lot.)
I have gotten through hard things before, and I will get through them again.
I am learning dbt now and I really like these kind of dialectics!
