Our Favorite Affirmations
Affirmations are short, generally positive, statements or phrases that can help challenge negative or challenging thoughts. Affirmations work by leading to long-term changes in the way we think and feel, and so many people find them helpful.
While there may be many affirmations you can look up on the internet for several topics, writing your own affirmation for yourself, generally or for a specific challenge, can be powerful on its own.
Do you have an affirmation that helps you? Please share it in this thread so that we can collect our favorite/most useful affirmations.

It's ok not to be perfect. / My illness does not define me, my strength and courage define me. / Being sensitive does not make me weak. / I can't live a positive life with negative thoughts holding me back. / It's ok to ask for help.
Today I found that visualizing myself in a warm, comforting bath or orange liquid, just floating peacefully, then saying (either to myself or out loud) “I deserve to be nourished and nurtured. I’m open to and deserving of being helped. I’ve relaxed my whole body inside and out.” or something like that really helped me today.
well. That and about three hours of guided meditations and affirmations from YouTube. It’s been a jOuRnEy.
