Our Favorite Affirmations
Affirmations are short, generally positive, statements or phrases that can help challenge negative or challenging thoughts. Affirmations work by leading to long-term changes in the way we think and feel, and so many people find them helpful.
While there may be many affirmations you can look up on the internet for several topics, writing your own affirmation for yourself, generally or for a specific challenge, can be powerful on its own.
Do you have an affirmation that helps you? Please share it in this thread so that we can collect our favorite/most useful affirmations.
For me I will say!
You can do this! And just remember you are not alone!
I do have a moto that I often use when things get hard but to be fair I stole it from a tv show. I stand straight up and say, "I've got this." Mostly I try to think about my niece and nephew it always brightens up my world. ♡♡♡

I am flowing river
I have two ones I go by ;
"Time spent happy is time well spent "(it's ok to not always be productive and having fun or relaxing is just as important)
"What happened happened ,and wouldn't have happened any other way"( bit of a tongue twister haha,what has happened in the past is the way it happened and I can't change that ,whether it was bad or not it's what I at the time thought was best and that's ok bc ik better now)

Sometimes, neutral affirmations are the way to go especially if it is hard to come up with a positive one - especially good for those with a history of trauma and self-esteem related situations.
"I am feeling this way now, but later on, I might feel differently."
@SynSavory
Another example: "I am feeling this way right now, but there are times in the past where I didn't always feel this way."
@SynSavory
I don't necessarily need neutral ones - but others might benefit.
A personal fave is:
"I was strong before, I know how to be strong again, with a bit more wisdom this time. I've gone through worse already."
