Affirmations are short, generally positive, statements or phrases that can help challenge negative or challenging thoughts. Affirmations work by leading to long-term changes in the way we think and feel, and so many people find them helpful.

While there may be many affirmations you can look up on the internet for several topics, writing your own affirmation for yourself, generally or for a specific challenge, can be powerful on its own.

Do you have an affirmation that helps you? Please share it in this thread so that we can collect our favorite/most useful affirmations.

Investing into bad soil will produce nothing. Investing into good soil brings the most beautiful harvest that not only you, but everyone else can appreciate.

Rejection is the most amazingly wonderful thing that could have happened to me. It provided the harsh, brutal flames that baked this better version of me, with whom the rejecter can now have no place, for there is no one who throws perfectly well made cake, back into the flames.

@Anasthayzia

That one reminded me of the symbolism of metal being purified by fire. The dross, or the imperfections of the metal, form at the top so they can be easily scraped off. Rejection hurts but you're right... if we accept that 'fire' as a purification, we come out even better than before the rejection. πŸ˜„

I am way more than enough.

If it won't matter in 5 years, don't even spend 5 minutes worrying about it.
