The first mention is a steady reader of my journal here, has given me some great advice & is, from what I've seen so far, a genuinely great guy with a wide skill set. If I had to pick my nearest neighbor from the Cupsian population it would be him, hands down.
2nd one is the Listener I've talked to the longest. She's not only helped me as a Listener...we've also had some fascinating convos. For me, finding someone interesting enough to continually hold my attention more than a half-hour after meeting him/her can be difficult. Jovialpeace pulls it off, every time.
The 3rd guy isn't here. He helped me to become a property owner, which I've never been before. 2024 has been an unusual year for that reason.

We would have to synchronize our conditions somehow, so that both of us would be equally useless on a given day (or two)....That would leave the rest of the week for goals & chores.

I usually aim to recognize those who do well by me, do me favours, help me out, etc. This year I'm a bit broke thanks to student loans n' all, but I still plan to get everyone holiday cars and snacks. I'm all for recognizing the good people do and reinforcing that any way I can.

I found this post a bit confronting. I like to think I'm someone who recognises and thanks others for their support.
And I think there are some contexts where I am. I could quite happily write here who I'm grateful for.
But would I pick up the phone and say it to someone in real life? Probably not. Too daunting.
So I'm not going to write any here. But instead set myself the challenge of doing it in real life.

1. My cousin ( best friend since childhood)
2. My uncle (mom's brother, the cousins' dad)
3. My nieces -2 girls 😍
I have seen a lot of rollercoaster moments the last 5 years. My cousin and uncle literally saved me from depression, confusion and a lot more emotional stuff due to loss of both parents in 2020 and 2023 and marital abuse.
Thankfully I am in a safe place with my brother and his wonderful daughters, 7 and 4 yrs. They practically grew up in my lap. They play around, be themselves and it just makes me want to live. With the help of pshycologist and these four people, I'm learning to exist again 🤗
I am glad to have found 7cups. It gives me a sense of purpose to be alive and useful 😇. You guys are all amazing for your beautiful hearts and soul 🌹 ❤️ doing what you do here. Cheers guys 🤗🥳🤩
