Day 13: People Who Made My Year Special

My boyfriend because he has been there with me through the good and bad and I am so grateful for him.

@SoulfullyAButterfly I took over an artist meetup group for a while this year and in the spring I met a girl there who was super bright and talkative. She only showed up to maybe three meetings, but one meeting she told me about graffitied ruins up on a hiking trail and then took me and one other girl up there to go see it after the meeting ended. The graffiti was beautiful and in a code language and it all felt very special and secluded and adventurous. we hiked for hours exploring and then i went home and rediscovered my passion for linguistics while i decoded the language of the graffiti. it was all so fun and definitely the highlight of my year. even if i barely know her and only got to see her a couple of times, she made my year better.

I'm a newbie here, so I haven't made any online friends here yet, but I am thankful for a few folks this year. I got to meet some nice folks that recognized me from a *** this past year and I was able to get together the money to do so - I always felt left out because of where I live. One new person this year from these endeavours that meant a great deal for growth. I have to travel in order to see folks. I have been working on trying to make more IRL friends, but its difficult due to my interests and the population density. I keep trying. I cannot just be on my computer all the time. 

IRL friends I do have. One really stepped up this year, checking in on me despite having family, and for that, I am very thankful. She knew of which I came from as I grew up with her and extended support.

There's a few other IRL folks that helped out this year, that I did not know sometimes even a few days ago. And I am thankful for that. My age is tough finding friends IRL, as this is the time folks have families and the like, or spouses. So I reflect on that, and am thankful that I have those connections to keep moving me forward.

Who are three people who made your year special, and how did they impact your life?

Hmm 3 people, hard thing to do, but if we speak of peopl3 in offlien life id say it's possible, as for cups I'll try to leave them ou5 from answering this. 

First person i fell for, gotta say i had to learn a lot of new from them. Made 2 good connections i hope to last, one is a friendship with a female collegue and she's a great support, other a male collegue that's a funny introvert recommending good books and keeping whole class in check. 

What’s one moment with someone that made you feel deeply grateful this year?

If i had to choose only one moment id choose rain, 😅 going back home while it's raining and having someone to hold your hand is just another thing to be grateful for. 

How can you show appreciation to those who’ve supported or inspired you this year?

We got to question i don't know how to answ34. I guess my way to appreciate someone is by returning the favor. 

Reflecting on these relationships, what lessons have you learned about connection, kindness, or gratitu de?

• Who are three people who made your year special, and how did they impact your life?  The first is Amiable Peace, the Second is Polite Ocean, the third is my advisor.  The two listeners have been honest and caring.  My advisor has gone out  of his way to help me.
• What’s one moment with someone that made you feel deeply grateful this year?  I remember one specific moment that I'd rather not disclose.
• How can you show appreciation to those who’ve supported or inspired you this year?  I've thanked them sincerely.
• Reflecting on these relationships, what lessons have you learned about connection, kindness, or gratitude?  I try to always be honest, and I think I know that these people know that.

My son was especially wonderful this year. He made me feel loved, seen and valued. My dog never disappoints. He is my partner throughout the day.

I am so grateful to my mother for thinking of me and i suring my comfort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I show appreciation though little gestures like cooking or following up on their lives.

I’ve learned to look for the positive. When I find it I take time to savor it. It helps to make a memory.

this year wasn't too good for me.. there were many moments that *** up my mind. I am trying to forget all those moments but there are some peoples who try to make me remember all those bad things happend to me. Although there are some people who motivated me and helped me. I am still trying to get out of these unwanted thoughts.
