What are the 5 signs of passive-aggressive communication?
The silent treatment, subtle insults, procrastinating on purpose, sabotage, and keeping score.
What is one example of passive-aggressive behavior you have experienced in your life?
I have experienced people giving me the silent treatment multiple times. I would ask a question or try to talk to them, but they would continue to ignore me and then at the last minute they would say they didn't want to talk at the moment. I felt that was immature and hurtful because I thought I did something wrong.
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
It makes people not want to be on the site anymore, or speak with some people. It might put them in a place where they are scared of a person, or scared to speak. They could develop trust issues with people. It will cause our community to break down, and it will cause a bunch of conflict between one another.
@mxmes
I've recently been ghosted in a really important relationship of mine...the horrible extreme of silent treatment. We'll get through this stronger though - by being the better person : )

I have both been on the receiving and giving side of passive aggressive behavior. It is difficult when people won't speak directly about the emotions and problems they are experiencing and it is incredibly damaging to the relationship, no matter the style of relationship. It would be going against 7Cups culture and values.
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
Passive aggression is so damaging for our community because it is a form of dishonesty and unhealthy communication that is so vital to improving others lives and keeping with the 7Cups culture and values that it tries to uphold for the betterment of all people involved.
