Hello, Cupsmas Carnival-goers! 🎄✨

It’s time to settle one of the coziest debates of the season: What makes the ultimate hot cocoa?

Whether you’re a classic marshmallows fan, a whipped cream enthusiast, or someone who loves to mix in candy canes, we want to hear from YOU!

Here’s how you can join the fun:

  1. Share your ultimate hot cocoa recipe. Do you add a secret ingredient? Use a special type of chocolate?
  2. Tell us what toppings absolutely belong on a mug of cocoa—and what doesn’t (looking at you, sprinkles 😉).
  3. Don’t hold back—defend your favorites and playfully debate your fellow cocoa lovers!

Let’s make this thread a cozy, chocolatey celebration. Can’t wait to hear your hot cocoa hot takes!

Italian hot chocolate!

It's so decadent! It's more like a pudding, than a drink.

  • put 3 to 4 teaspoons of cocoa powder (the real one, not the one which already has sugar in it) into a   big mug
  • stir it with a couple tablespoons of coconut cream or cream, to easily dissolve the cocoa
  • add flavor - e.g. gingerbread sirup, or hazelnut sirup, or caramel sirup, or vanilla sugar, or bitter almond aroma (my favorite), and some gingerbread spice or just cinnamon + some sugar, if no sirup
  • stir
  • pour milk or oat milk while continuing to stir
  • microwave for a bit over a minute, so it's hot
  • enjoy

With a shot of whiskey in it. Whipped cream on top is nice but not necessary.
