Great review! 💫

If you are to write about the E.A.T factors, what would be it? 🙂

The graphic is sweet with a great message that promote mental health. As you’re mentioned your interest in the marketing part, I would add a note for that part. Your social media presence will represent your brand. In this exercise, it's 7 Cups or if it's personal branding, you as a Listener/Member of the community. In marketing, every efforts have objective/s. For example, to improve awareness of the brand, or generate lead.

Brand logo, color, or if there's any, font are something that usually consistent. One of a great example is how Coca-Cola doing it in social media.

Hope it is adding value for your CDM journey 💜 cheers!

Thumbs up for the article review and to be honest, this is the first time I heard about Matting Intelligence 😀 thanks, Sea!

For the graphic, I like how you created the asymmetrical balance of left alignment nicely, and created hierarchy by putting weight on the word you want to emphasize. Well done! ⭐

Just out of curiosity, what made you put your name and 7 Cups logo hidden in the corners? 😀

You have done well in producing feedback for this interesting article.

You have outlined the 3 strengths well, and I like how you have mentioned that the author blended professionalism with intimacy in his writing style.

Good examples of the EAT criteria were also demonstrated.

The authority section, as you mentioned, was well demonstrated as the content is based on an authoritative book, and you have also linked this well to the Trust section.

Your graphic is very nice in design with the pink colour and hearts included.

Nicely done, Kate!

In all honesty, I was confused to differentiate the Authoritativeness and the Trustworthiness on EAT as it feels overlapping 😀 but this guidelines help:

  • The expertise of the creator of the content.
  • The authoritativeness of the creator of the content, the content itself, and the website.
  • The trustworthiness of the creator of the content, the content itself, and the website.

As for graphic, creative and catchy! 💜 I noticed you like bright colors which is great to catch attention and stand out in a crowded social media! Additionally you added an info as a branding part with your name as part of 7 Cups. ⭐

Article /Self-esteem with emphasis on taking the challenge and insisting on achieving goals And the 3 strengths of self-confrontation are self-love, affirmation that you are enough, and self-belief The importance of low self-enhancement is an essential part of your life that must be confronted and work on the self and strengthening it in facing the challenges that appear in the life of the individual and the belief that you can do anything and confront it with determination and absolute faith.

The article that I picked is Everything You Need to Know About Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) written by Temi Coker. I wasn't able to find an article with a topic close to the first article that I am creating, however, I picked one that is partially related and that it interests me.

I am so glad that I decided to read this article, it is so well written and presented, I have learned a lot reading this article. First of all, it was very concise, in small paragraphs with 1-3 sentences, the knowledge associated with BPD was reported entirely. With enough details to allow understanding of the subject, but not irrelevant information. Second, looking at the sources list, it is evident that the author used facts and researches to back her statements. There were 7 resources and that surpasses the 2 recommended minimum resources. And best of all, it really was considering the reader's desires. It delivered exactly what a reader wants to read, whether it is readers that want to enhance their knowledge of the different mental health issues or readers who seek to cure their BPD.

Expertise: The author Temi Coker was trustworthy based on her background of being a BACP accredited psychotherapist, holding a MA. More details are also shown in her biography where she had explained her experiences to a further extent, her expertise lies on many different topics and age groups. Authority: Clicking into the biography of Temi Coker, she has a 5-star rating on all categories including helpfulness, professionalism, empathy, and response time. Perhaps adding her other works outside of 7 Cups or listing out her other experiences will enhance her authority.
Trust: There were many citations for the article that is governmental based and are from reliable associations. Temi Coker has also published 5 other articles here in 7 Cups from different category topics.

Article title:How do you let go of the need for approval?/ 7 cups

3 strong points:

1-) The importance of knowing ourselves in how we make decisions about where you spend your time. 2-)Building strength in feelings of what is right for us When we begin to do so we will no longer feel the need to please other people.

3-)Focus on how your need for approval is preventing you from performing the tasks that matter to you.

Avoiding confrontations over and over again makes you live a life that lacks your true worth, which inevitably makes you question your worth as a person. Both paths bring a set of negative consequences, so it is ultimately up to you to make the decision. The first brings peace in the present and the other brings you freedom in the long run.

EAT:

Expertise: Self-strength, understanding yourself for being more mature.

Authority: Being your own master, controlling everything that is yours by not letting others decide what you want.

Trustworthiness: Make informed decisions regardless of how others react, freedom in the long run.

I reviewed this article: https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/how-to-plan-a-sober-vacation

The 3 strengths this article has regarding best practices include:

1. The article would be great to share in the summertime.

2. The tone was friendly.

3. The paragraphs were kept short and easy to read.

My articles based on EAT include:

1. The author created an article that's easily shared and the author's bio shared that they themselves were in recovery.

2. They shared a quote from a reliable source and linked to content outside of 7Cups.

3. The author had a bio and cites external sources.

Article to Review: Can Money Buy Happiness? https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/can-money-buy-happiness

3 Top Strengths of the Article

  1. Includes expert quotes and insights from the very beginning
  2. Is conversational and accessible in your writing. I appreciate how the author simplifies the study they are citing.
  3. Empathetic, kind, helpful & informative - you leave with a well explained answer to the question, “Can Money Buy Happiness?”

Reviewing the Article for EAT

- Expertise

  • The author references credible experts to spark conversation (i.e. economist Angus Deaton, psychologist Daniel Kahneman)
  • The author refers to a couple of credible resources to make their point (i.e. Forbes, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America)

- Authority

  • Author mentions credible studies (i.e. Deaton-Kahneman study, Federal Reserve's 2017 "Report on the Economic Well-Being of U.S. Households")
  • Author gives sound advice on what to do if are you not financially well-off

- Trust

  • I personally think that the author could’ve included more of their story into the article.
  • The author did a great job reference a lot of credible resources, but without the author’s story, the article lacks personality and thus lacks empathy.

Areas of improvement: For the Social Stigma Related to Mental Illness in Men sub-heading a numerical statistic could strengthen the article (e.g. how many men seek social support, waiting for it to go away, seek professional support or do exercise). The article perhaps needs a few hashtags possibly on the already well-suited graphic to the article title.

3 strengths: 1. Used personal experience quotes in Maladaptive Strategies heading which can create more empathy in the article. 2. The graphic is well-suited to the article title. 3. All the titles fit in with what is being written J
