Hi there! Welcome to my page :) I am Kate, a young woman from a city in the northern area of Greece. I am a high school student, studying in the humanities field and am working towards studying psychology or English philology in university. I initially joined this site to get support in regards to my at the time relationship, and decided to also join as a Listener, doing exactly what I plan on having as my profession in a few years from now: be there for people. My main role here is to be there for you no matter what you go through, no matter how big or small it is. And no matter how many roles I take on on this site, I will still be here for you. For that is my main goal, my biggest contribution to this community. 🥰

Some of my hobbies include: dancing, writing, reading books (romance, fantasy, mythology and non-fiction), filming videos as well as taking pictures.

When people share a laugh, they share a memory or experience, and that bond between them grows stronger. Humor can be a tool in resolving conflicts, enhancing one's communication, and helping to maintain a positive relationship environment. Types of humor, such as affiliative and self-enhancing, may also relate to long-term relationship quality. Humor can ease the stress in daily dealings and make a couple much more resilient, keeping a joyful partnership. Some of the benefits of humor are: Better communication: Laughter serves as an icebreaker and relaxes people enough to comfortably discuss difficult matters. Increased bonding: Laughing together increases bonding between partners emotionally, hence making them feel closer to each other. Stress relief: Laughter releases endorphins that will help reduce stress and thus uplift the mood, a dire need for a healthy relationship. Resilience: Humor in relationships brings resilience, allowing couples to deal better with challenges and conflicts. Positive health effects: Laughter has physiological benefits, such as improving circulation and boosting immune function. Humor is often expressed in different ways. Some types of humor are: Affiliative humor: Involves amusing others to keep things positive and lively, sustaining and enriching relational bonds. Self-enhancing humor: Reflects the ability to poke fun at oneself in a good-natured way, helping to see humor in unfavorable events.
