It can be scary to confront people because....
They can hurt u..
They can hurt you
The fear of them hurting me
of me hurting them
of regretting words that can makes us apart
of loosing them to death and not having the chance to apologize
Guilt
They might believe I
They don
I'm always worried about what people will think if I do that. I never say what I want to. I don't know how to say no, or stop, so I just let people treat me as they want to, because I don't want them to dislike or judge me. I'm so done with that...
@laurendivide I hear you. Time to heal from codepence and love ourselves in a healthy way.
@laurendivide me too!
We forget they
Because we don't know how the other person will react to our confrontation and yes of course the fear of loosing the person is the foremost thing which stops people to confront.
Fear of being judged
I agree with the people saying that it's easier to confront strangers.
The thing is I don't confront strangers that easy because I don't care about them. They don't know me and I can't please 7 billion people.
I sometimes confront family and friends. The consequences can be terrible because sometimes I end up losing them (they abandon me and run away). That's the unpleasant and scary part. Especially because I don't have many friends and losing one of them after telling him that he should care more about his wife and not a female collegue is what brought me here. LOL
