Advantages of a diverse team

Different cultural perspectives promote creativity and innovation

Diversity allows to reach and help people all over the world.

Exposure to different cultures and practices promotes learning new skills, more creativity and increased productivity.

How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

Ignore stereotypes by which certain countries and cultures are associated with certain traits.

Respectful the beliefs of all members of the Community

Be mindful of schedules and availability because of different celebrations.

Remember to express time in an understandable way for people of different timezones while scheduling something.

Schedule team meetings trying to accommodate the convenience of team members living in different timezones.

first of all there is the timezones difference this makes the team function 24/7, also thereis the language diversity which makes people we are able to communicate with wider, also we get to learn alot from eachother as we are from highly different backgrounds and have very different experiences

by not trying to impose what we believe is true, acting disrespectful and/or understamting other peoples' knowladge and experience level just because they don't think the way we do!

The advantages of a diverse team is firstly the vaaast horizon of new ideas , its like having lots of different beautiful minds together in one place, that can only cultivate more extricate and unique ideas for a prosperous march ahead. We can promote and protect diversity by practicing tolerance and learning to speak the last, we dont need to have opinions on everything. Sometimes just by listening to the different aspects widens our dimension

Advantages:
Diversity means new and new means of creativity. Learning about different cultures could help us in many ways directly and indirectly.

How can we be respectful?
By removing stereotypes from conversations
By being open minded
By respecting Timezones
And Also by using simple English for those who have English as the second language :)

Understanding we are all one, become more open minded, become more accepting towards others differences, learning from each other about many things like how to do things in a different way than learned, increasing creativity.

How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

Understand that there is no culture being right, don’t judge but respect others beliefs, avoid stereotyping and see the individual, be considerate towards cultural festive days and time zones and availability. Be helpful to others for whom english is a second language and not mother language. Try the best you can to understand and help them.
