We can Respect different cultures by avoiding Stereotypes, honoring beliefs, and be considerate of different cultural celebrations and time zones.

Some advantages are that we all have different strengths and that we can each relate to different members from all backgrounds. I also think it helps us specialise more on the things we know and our culture and help support members if we want to. I also think it gives us more of a choice and helps leadership as a lot of people are represented not just one group.

 How can we be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups?

I think especially with seasonal events not to pressure people into involvement and run more of a volunteer base as then people can volunteer what they are comfortable with as well as asking the community what events they are interested in celebrating/hosting over the year,

We can be be respectful of different cultures on 7 Cups by:

- Respecting cultural differences and individuals opinions.

- Being mindful of schedules and availability considering different time zones.

- Being respectful of individuals comfortable zones when attending multicultural celebrations.

- Being mindful of the language competence of the individuals and using simpler words for their convenience.

We are able to help it a lot more people as being in different areas of the world allow people at different time zones to provide support to individuals meaning support can be provided at most periods of the day.

we are able to gain more new innovative ideas due to the their new insights and knowledge they have gained from their culture and surrounding which can help us to make our mission more successful.

We get to appreciate and learn new ideas and thoughts associated with different cultures and their celebrations which can a good experience and help us to understand our members better.

As the team is from a variety of geological places they will have different skill sets and capabilities which can be a valuable addition to the team and help us to achieve our goals.

We must support and appreciate their cultural and other beliefs that may go against our own because it is important to understand that we are all different and have different beliefs and that’s okay as long as we respect each others beliefs.

We should also be mindful of their schedules and the chances of them being available as some cultures will celebrate holidays that other cultures do not so we should be aware of these differences and respect their culture and give them the time to celebrate by providing them with breaks to enjoy the holidays.

we should also be aware of time zone differences and ensure that we choose a proper time that is comfortable for everyone when planning meetings or events to ensure that everyone can participate freely 

we should also get rid of stereotypes associated with certain cultures and know that these are often times wrong and generalize the wrong idea as these assumptions are outdated and unlikely to apply to anyone with a specific culture
