Hi, I'm Hira, and I'm here to support you to the best of my ability. I genuinely enjoy talking and helping people, so feel free to talk to me about anything – I won't consider it a burden. If you're feeling the weight of ongoing conflicts or distressing events like those involving human rights violations, know that I'm here to listen. I strongly condemn any form of oppression, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, genocide, racism, dehumanization, sexism, etc.
My goal is to provide a safe space for you to express your emotions and find support during difficult times. As someone who has an ED, MDD, CPTSD, GAD, and SAD, I really hope everyone feels like they have support in their life and know that they are truly not alone when dealing with mental illnesses. You are so strong for living and are so much more than what a mental illness defines you as. It may feel like no one understands how horrible it is to deal with mental illnesses and the loneliness and vulnerability that comes along with it but so many people might feel the same as you, and with some support, can slowly heal. We are all human, and that's all it takes to feel empathy and compassion. I hope that you are able to find that support you need and can find so much happiness that you don't know what to do with it.Â
I am a psychology major with a concentration in clinical psychology and am preparing for a masters in mental health counseling. I also have completed the 40 hour accredited RBT training course and will be taking the exam to be certified as an RBT. I currently am not taking requests, but will start taking them again once I can! Thank you for taking the time to read this and I sincerely hope you feel heard for your issues and feel better, even if its just a little bit better than how you felt before. <3Â
