Mantras To Live By
A mantra is "a word or phrase that is repeated often or that expresses someone's basic beliefs."
A mantra is a self affirmation that you can repeat & think to yourself. Itcan help you be reflective about your personal thought patterns and work on improving them. Pick 1 or 2 that you want to work on and make a commitment to thinking them this week. Say them to youself when you wake up in the morning and before bed.
Let us know how it goes! You can create your own & share them here. Here are a few for you to start with:
I love myself and accept myself in this moment.
I forgive myself.
Keep your head up & your heart open.
My life is a magical gift.
This too shall pass.
I am strong & vibrant. I bring my unique opinions & world view to everything that I do.
I will accept the change that I cannot change.
"When it rains, it pours...but soon, the sun shines again. Stay positive. Better days are on their way."
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own"
That's actually a great advice to avoid useless worrying!
Thanks for sharing :)

The point of demons is not to silence them. Silencing something does not make it go away, and nothing stays quiet forever. You must sprint, head first into your demons, look them straight in the eye, and say "I am the captain now." The point is to tell them who is boss. When you have thrived in and conquered your darkness, and the parts of yourself that you keep secret, you allow the light to radiate from your finger tips and blast the self loathing and desperation they inflict on your soul. You turn your demons into your lessons, you ace those suckers, and you live your life like the boss ass bitch that you are.
"You are more than the sum of your past mistakes"
We have a saying in Tibet: If a problem can be solved there is no use worrying about it. If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.
"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. All one has to do is simply turn on the light."

Slow down. Don't think or act in haste. Consider the impact your actions or words will have on those you care about before you let them loose. Put the needs of others before your own, and you will find you have less needs. Control your thoughts; do not let your thoughts control you.
We all happen to have bad experiences. What matters is how we learn from them
