✨The magic of Cups✨
I'm referring to the harmony that we all have,
how we are all willing to support one another.
We are a magical community because in Cups you can and always will find
support, care, kindness, compassion and even joy!
We are all here because we want to make the world a better place,
one chat at a time. That's magic!
Cups is a big place, where everyone can find something fitting to their needs.
If you want to be there only to provide support,
you can do so through member chats.
Want to feel more social, but fast running texts overwhelm you?
The forums are your place.
If you enjoy live chats and want to socialize and meet other people
who share the same struggles or just want to be there for you,
then you have the chat rooms.
And when you sit down, you're met with multiple possibilities of options
Do you need a calm environment? No problem,
and sit in the booths. Want to feel energized? Join us in the
chatting area where everyone is sharing and having fun.
Whatever you need, we got you! Time doesn't matter, we are here.
🥰
We as humans are quite adaptable to our environments,
especially when we know what's okay and what isn't,
when we know what the goal is and what to strive for.
And when we adapt to each other to work in harmony,
just like the cords work together to make beautiful music,
our harmonious work does the same.
🎶
😊
And others do the same with you.
When we work together, we're not only adjusting to what is around us,
but to one another as well. And that's where we create harmony.
💞

@AnnaSilverberg thank you Anna for making this post and helping me and all of us puzzle through and attempt to use words and metaphors ( a big cozy cafe! ) to help us think through the magic of 7 Cups. I especially like this point:
When we work together, we're not only adjusting to what is around us,
It is like harmony emerges in the connection and adaptation to others. I think that is very interesting. I need to percolate on it more. I'll share more of my thoughts a bit down the post. Thank you again for writing this up for us!
@AnnaSilverberg
This is such a beautiful and heartfelt message about community, support, and kindness. It highlights how magical it is when people come together with a shared goal and willingness to adapt and support one another.
The magic I’ve found within Cups is the way it offers a space where people can be genuinely vulnerable and still feel safe. It's incredible how, despite being strangers, others show up with such warmth, patience, and empathy. There's something special about how a single message of support can turn someone's day around, and that connection, even if it's just for a brief moment, feels truly magical.
@AnnaSilverberg
Finding the words to encapsulate the essence of 7 Cups and the work that we all do within it as a community can be challenging. The way you describe 7 Cups as magic is honestly so easy to understand. This compassion-first culture we have nurtured and continue to evolve is a thing of pure magic. It's miraculous.
And here you have nailed it for me:
"I am referring to our collective work! When I say that our collective work is magical, I'm referring to the harmony that we all have, how we are all willing to support one another. As well as how we all have a perfect understanding of what our mutual goal is and what we want for the community as a whole."
I love the way you envision 7 Cups. It resonates so deeply. Your knack for imagery is inspirational. Thank you, Anna, for painting a beautiful comprehensive picture of our community in a way that's so easy to see how aligned we all are.
I'm glad that you like the way I have described
the magic that we have here at Cups and that you
agree with how I feel about Cups. We are a great community,
and I have high hopes for us in becoming an even better community
because we can always improve and grow our magic.
Thank you for sharing your magic with us!
✨💙✨
@AnnaSilverberg awwww ❤❤ Anna you definetly have magic in your beautiful words ❤❤
For me what makes 7 cups truly magical is being able to be surrounded by so many good people, who show so much kindness, love and support for each other. The bonds of friendship that are made here, the miracle storys of that one man who finally left his house because of cups! Or the woman who finally had the courage to leave that bad situation, the man who lived in the dark now finally letting the light in. Look around everyone, this is the place where magic and miracles happen ❤ and of course the wizard who holds us together , Mr GlenM
I agree with you, there are countless of
magical moments that we can find here on Cups,
and the magic we all create by being supportive of one
another is our own way of sharing our sparks! Thank you for
being a wonderful member of our community and for bringing
your own happy Christmas, Merry easter magic to us!
You're amazing! Never forget that!

@AnnaSilverberg ❤❤❤
@AnnaSilverberg Lately the "magic" of 7Cups hasn't been the kind I & other members would like to see. The comment thread structure was changed a few days ago without warning; I & other members have found it disconcerting to say the least. The old branching structure worked just fine, so I don't see any reason for this format change.
Also, at least one & likely two of my recent comments have suspiciously disappeared. Now I understand that as a place for people with mental & psychological problems, certain things can be "triggering" & so screening of posts is necessary...that's a good thing to do. What is not good is suppressing criticisms in the name of making 7Cups a "safe" place--all that does is foster a climate of toxic positivity, & prevent Cups' management from knowing how site changes affect the membership.

I see you and I hear you,
it's not easy when the site undergoes changes and
it can create discomfort for us all.
I want you to know that this is being worked on and
that our technical team is doing their best to get things
right, but as it goes with all growth, it has it's ups and downs.
I'm sorry to hear how this has affected you and I want you to know that
this will get better, that the forums are still being worked on and that this
is very unlikely to be the final results of our tech teams work.
I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused,
but know that we are not ignoring this challenge and
that we are working on it. Your comfort matters to us
and I'm thankful that you understand that there are changes
going on, I want to kindly ask you to try to be patient with us ❤️
Just as Rome wasn't built in one day, neither was Cups.
Thank you so much for sharing, Decline.
I truly appreciate your input!

@AnnaSilverberg Thank you for answering. I am grateful that you responded, more than anything else....if you really appreciated my input then, truly, you are a patient woman indeed. Kudos for achieving such equanimity!
@AnnaSilverberg
I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the enchanting magic we share here. As a volunteer listener, I’m constantly amazed by the moments of connection that unfold every day.
The magic I’ve found here is like a treasure chest full of gems! 💎 It’s in those heartfelt chats where someone finally opens up and feels truly heard for the first time. It’s when a simple conversation can brighten someone’s day or help them feel less alone. So for me, the magic is in the connections we create.
You sure have a wonderful way with words as well.
That's a beautiful skill to have, I also see the kindness
that you so happily share with us here on Cups and I want
to thank you for being such a wonderful listener and a person.
What you do here is truly valuable and we appreciate you!
✨💙✨
@AnnaSilverberg
Aw, thank you so much! You just made my day sparkle!✨And I feel fortunate to be part of such a supportive community where we can share kindness and uplift one another💙
I do think there can be a certain “magic” about a good connection. We are, after all, symbiotic beings who thrive better when in the community of others. Developing those personal qualities of compassion can be challenging at times for some of us, but strengthening those compassion muscles can lead to even better relationships, so it is good practice trying here in the anonymous cyberspace and then trying to generalize some of those skills into our living surroundings.
Wow. I am just a click away.Xx
