Happy Birthday! Share & Celebrate Your Birthday With Us!!

...See more Hello, 7 Cups Residents, 7 Cups is a community of compassion and support. We at 7Cups believe in acknowledging and celebrating milestones, accomplishments, special moments, and days. Days like Birthdays and Cupsversay (Anniversary at 7Cups) are some of the most important days of our lives. We want to join in your celebration and celebrate you in our own style - the 7Cups way. We share love bombs, birthday wishes, shout-outs, cookies, cakes, glitter, and hugs. We come together to celebrate each other because you matter to us. You are a part of our community and we are blessed to have you. Thank you for being a 7 Cups resident. * If it is your birthday, please let us know here. * If it is the birthday of someone you know here, please share with us here. Also, we would love to hear how would you like to celebrate your birthday here on 7 Cups or any experiences of your birthday that you are comfortable sharing with us. Also, Do you know? * You can host a small party for your friend! A 15-30 min banner can be set by a mod in the community room so you can celebrate the birthday party. The party should not clash with any prior scheduled event (check tockify [https://www.7cups.com/home/communityCalendar.php]). Please reach out to the community mod on duty to let them know of the party and ask them to set an alert so more people can join in the fun. Both members and listeners can host, there are no requirements to who can throw a party! * You can also make a post for them Click here [https://www.7cups.com/forum/PositivityGratitude_170/HonoringBirthdaysCupversaries_179/] to see the forum section where you can make posts to celebrate birthdays. * Some rules to follow: 🎈 While it is okay to celebrate someone's special day, it is not okay to make others feel excluded. If someone is unaware of who is being celebrated, provide them some context and make an effort to include them. 🎈 All celebratory parties are public, this means anyone can join and they should be welcomed wholeheartedly. 🎈 The host who requested/set up the banner is required to stay for the whole party and ensure that everyone present feels welcomed and included. While it can be a good idea to show your appreciation and acknowledgment through such events but please don't feel pressured to host or attend any party. This is just an option for those interested. If your birthday is coming up and you want to throw yourself a party, that is also perfectly okay! We encourage and celebrate self-care and self-love. Let's work together to make each other's special days more fun! Happy Birthday, fellow cupser. I wish you a lovely birthday and a thriving year filled with joy and accomplishments.
Here's Hoping!🍁

...See more Hey hey everyone coming across, how are y'all doing today?🧡 I planned on making this post on September 1st, but am a few hours late (yay procrastination 🥲) but hey, not too late xD so this counts.👀 Okay seriously, is anyone able to believe we are almost 75% done with this year already?!🤯 Time always seems to be flying, and gosh, so difficult to make sense of, at times. (Please tell I'm not alone in this lol) But okie yes, gonna try that delulu (yusss, I used a GenZ slang 'cause it's fun😂) approach and pretend that we acknowledge the time passing, and that it is September already, and we are entering the last quarter of 2024, and it's gonna be okayyy. 💛 A lot can happen over a few minutes, to be honest, a few seconds even, like you've watched the Olympics recently? A few seconds make so much of a difference. So on the brighter side, we still got 4 whole months to ourselves and there's still sooooo much more we can feel, do, experience and live.❤ Now now, reflection time for all- (you can answer any and all)  🍁 How has 2024 been so far for you? Any core moments you'd like to share about? 🍁 How does the thought about this year ending soon too make you feel? 🍁 Any feasible plans or realistic goals in mind for this last quarter? Anything you'd like to do or experience before this year ends?  🍁 If your January-2024 self could write a letter to current *you*. What would it say?  🍁 If none of the prompts interest you enough to share away, no worries~ the floor is yours, feel welcome to share anything that's on your mind currently. As I always say, it's better with our peers. The sharing, the connecting, the supporting and the encouraging. So don't be shy in inviting your peers to participate.🥰 I hope this last quarter, treats us all, with a whole lot of love, care, compassion and most importantly, gentleness.🧡

✨The magic of Cups✨
by AnnaSilverberg
Last post
October 18th
...See more Hay everyone✨! I often say that Cups is a magical community, it’s what I firmly believe. Now, what am I referring to when I say it’s magical? 🌞 I am referring to our collective work! When I say that our collective work is magical, I'm referring to the harmony that we all have, how we are all willing to support one another. As well as how we all have a perfect understanding of what our mutual goal is and what we want for the community as a whole. 💓 To me, magic isn't what is only found in fairy tales or on magic shows, it's something that we all possess within us. We all have endless capabilities to share kindness, compassion, care and support in the world and when we choose to do so and find joy in doing so, we are sharing our magic, our inner spark with those around us. ✨ We are a magical community because in Cups you can and always will find support, care, kindness, compassion and even joy! We are all here because we want to make the world a better place, one chat at a time. That's magic! 🙏 Cups is a big place, where everyone can find something fitting to their needs. If you want to be there only to provide support, you can do so through member chats. Want to feel more social, but fast running texts overwhelm you? The forums are your place. If you enjoy live chats and want to socialize and meet other people who share the same struggles or just want to be there for you, then you have the chat rooms. 🙌 Imagine a huge cozy café, where everyone has a seat, no matter how early or late you join, there's a seat just for you. And when you sit down, you're met with multiple possibilities of options that you can choose from, what suits your needs? Do you need comfort? Or perhaps something encouraging? We got you! 🍵 Do you need a calm environment? No problem, let's just move to the corner where the calm music is playing and sit in the booths. Want to feel energized? Join us in the chatting area where everyone is sharing and having fun. Whatever you need, we got you! Time doesn't matter, we are here. 🥰 We as humans are quite adaptable to our environments, especially when we know what's okay and what isn't, when we know what the goal is and what to strive for. And when we adapt to each other to work in harmony, just like the cords work together to make beautiful music, our harmonious work does the same. 🎶 It's kind of like, when you start working with someone, you adjust to who they are and what they're like. You learn their strengths and what they could improve upon. 😊 And others do the same with you. When we work together, we're not only adjusting to what is around us, but to one another as well. And that's where we create harmony. 🤗 If we all had separate goals and we weren't willing to be adaptable, we'd just be one big chaos. But we're not. Sure, we do get people here that aren't very adaptable, but often than not, others around that person support them in becoming adaptable and take notice on how to effectively communicate with them 💞 Thank you, @GlenM for bringing us all together! Now, I have a question for you all! What magic have you found within Cups? ✨💙✨ ✨

...See more Have you heard of Gratitude Rain before? If yes, let me reintroduce it to you! If not, get ready to be amazed and get introduced to something beautiful and uplifting. The Gratitude Rain is geared towards encouraging members to pass their love to their helpful listeners. Are you a member who met a wonderful and helpful listener? You can now nominate your listener for a Gratitude Shower! All you need to do is share the profile link of your listener in our nomination form below: Gratitude Rain Nomination Form [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdVXpsGrn7RclIs6cVGrKsc-jz2ycD1m40-pXEhHc72xzBusw/viewform] (clickable)  Not satisfied with just putting in a profile link and want to be able to shower gratitude on listeners yourself? You can! Follow these 3 easy steps (also available in the nomination form): Step 1: Sign up here [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16PUh-ODfJb53Iv0A146E67Uot_HupV7F8W1ASzDaFFM/edit#gid=234161659] (only need to sign up once)! Step 2: After signup, see your name appear on the Cookie Land [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16PUh-ODfJb53Iv0A146E67Uot_HupV7F8W1ASzDaFFM/edit#gid=2035462663]. Yes, you are now a citizen of the cookie land *dances with joy* Step 3: Pick your name from the dropdown in Column A, and send a gratitude note using the instructions on our Gratitude Rain Sheet [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16PUh-ODfJb53Iv0A146E67Uot_HupV7F8W1ASzDaFFM/edit#gid=750846039]! Thank you, amazing you! For any questions, reach out to @CompassionateArrow or @WeEarth This guide video will make the process very simple for you: Arrow and Earth will be leading this initiative for us. Don't forget to shower your gratitude upon them as well! But I am not a member, fristo, can I not fill out the gratitude rain nomination form? Well, we got you. If you want to shower gratitude on a fellow listener there is Care Team Request Form [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfpDGFX-JBDLBAyVgxT3hoerLcOtm9yQALsuUzE3S2UiCDJTQ/viewform]! Do send thank you notes to your fellow listeners and the Care Team will deliver your note for you! If you would like to be showering gratitude yourself to listeners' pms, Steps 1 2 3 above are for you! 😀 Any member or listener may sign up on our Gratitude Rain sheet any time and get into pming gratitude showers upon some wonderful listeners 🌻 Can I get something more, something more decorative and creative? We got you covered again! Send an appreciation note to any member or listener (no limits, no restrictions, anyone at cups may participate any number of times at any time). Bookmark this appreciation form [https://forms.gle/QEni2At39ZMApELr6] (if not already done!) One last thing, fristo. Is there a possibility we award a special badge to some exceptionally kind members and listeners of 7 Cups?  You make me smile 🙂 Yes, there is the Kindness Project exactly for that. If you are a mentor or mentor equivalent, you can send your nominations for consistently kind members and listeners of 7 Cups! They will get the Kindness Crusader badge upon receiving 3 nominations. Here is the Kindness Nomination Form [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdMImEjEFVrIZ3k6zXcHDrx7yTiKLNBrZ-Erq5UNOU3jaNZ7A/viewform].  And you thought that was it, right? Well, not really! As some of us might know (and admire), we host plenty of positivity hours in the Positivity Corner Chatroom. It has become favorite room of many over the past one year. It's a popup room, and the more leaders we have, the more you see it open! You can become a room supporter here [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSetyJ7jp7W52-EIpqvFYLhfmpsgTW4BbzUwmi9r22OQ9AdH8w/viewform], and if you are a listener and a room supporter for 2+ weeks, become a mod here! [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScX7nNahJocq0tgDYBesRicWxTfExFCe5QMI-O-04K-qBjZrA/viewform] Lastly, here is our huge icebreakers and fun collection [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B2oq28uCISBj_IQuoquvvdK7YWGnnW9DvZ7c4RJloQw/edit#gid=982437392] for anyone to host in the room at any time! Let's make a collective community effort using Gratitude Rain and all the appreciation-related projects mentioned in this post to spread many many smiles and express our love and admiration for one another in this wonderful community of ours -wonderful because of the likes of you! 💛💛💛💛 We will keep this thread active by posting all Gratitude Rain announcements in this thread itself! This should enable us to participate more in seeing good (in and through challenges) and appreciating one another!

...See more hi everyone 💕 I was seeing the posts in this forum and felt really nice how we have so many positive people in cups 😍 these are people who have a positive mindset and an optimistic attitude towards life no matter how hard it gets for them  these are people who you can always find smiling or sharing a laugh around here  these are people who are always busy motivating others and sending encouragement  these are people whose positvity does not feel uncomfy...you know like sometimes it can be very nauseating to witness over positivity? idk how to put this best ...just hope that you understand what i mean😅 ... like sometimes even when someone says something happy or positive it's not easily believable ... or just seems untrue 😅 so im only talking about people who have a genuine way of expressing and who are authentic in what they believe  i think these people... they make 7 cups a more positive and warm place to be in...like some of them I always spot around the site comforting others, replying to long posts also...appreciating and supporting everyone.. and idk if it's just me but i feel both surprised how some people have that radiating joy like aura and also vv inspired by them because they just make me feel more hopeful when I'm feeling down...and often times unknowingly because im gosh im so awkward at times and don't wanna interrupt any conversations ...so i just notice from a distance xD and absorb their warmth a lil bit 🙈 or try to 🥺  just wanted to shout out to them ... people who spread hope around and make us smile even when things are so difficult 💕💕 it means more than anything 🥺🥺 If you also know someone like this here and want to shout out to them also then please do tag or mention them 💕💕💕 even happy looking people can use some kindness and encouragement me thinks 😅🥰

...See more Anakin, it is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of duty that I must inform you that the battle we are currently engaged in has reached a critical juncture. As I stand here, elevated above you on this precarious yet strategically advantageous terrain, I find myself in a position of undeniable superiority. This elevated position, often referred to in military strategy as the 'high ground,' affords me a multitude of tactical benefits that are both significant and insurmountable. The high ground, as you may well know, is not merely a physical elevation above one's opponent, but a symbol of strategic dominance and control. From this vantage point, I possess a clear and unobstructed view of the battlefield, allowing me to anticipate and counter any moves you might attempt. The elevated position also grants me the ability to leverage gravity to my advantage, making any offensive maneuvers I undertake more forceful and effective. Furthermore, the psychological impact of holding the high ground cannot be understated. Throughout history, countless battles have been won by those who held the high ground, as it instills a sense of confidence and morale in the holder, while simultaneously demoralizing the opponent. This psychological edge is a crucial component of warfare, as it can influence the outcome of a battle as much as, if not more than, physical prowess or weaponry. In addition to these tactical and psychological advantages, the high ground also provides a measure of safety and security. From this elevated position, I am less vulnerable to your attacks, as you would need to expend considerable effort and energy to reach me. This defensive benefit allows me to conserve my own strength and resources, further tipping the scales in my favor. Anakin, I implore you to consider the futility of continuing this confrontation. The high ground I hold is not merely a physical location, but a manifestation of the inevitable outcome of this battle. Your persistence in the face of such overwhelming odds is both admirable and tragic, as it can only lead to your downfall. It is with a heavy heart that I must reiterate: it is over, Anakin. I have the high ground. The high ground, as a concept, has been revered in military strategy for centuries. It is not just a matter of physical elevation, but a position of power and control. From this vantage point, I can see the entire battlefield, allowing me to anticipate your moves and counter them effectively. The elevated position also gives me the advantage of gravity, making my attacks more forceful and difficult to defend against. Moreover, the psychological impact of holding the high ground cannot be overstated.
