❤️ Creating Happiness ❤️
Hello Incredibly, Amazing Community!
Welcome to our Day 17 of the Self-Esteem Challenge. (The masterpost for the event is given here) …….
Happiness can be considered as a highly personal and subjective thing as it can differ according to the individual's experience, expectations, and needs in life. Many of us think of happiness as a feeling that evolves in two cases
1) As a response to opportunities, experiences, and appreciation from outside of ourselves. This mindset can be troublesome when one faces criticism, rejection, or when circumstances are beyond one's control leading to the feeling of helplessness or desperation.
2) When we have expectations (for ourselves or others) to be in a certain way or to obtain certain things. The issue of this mindset may involve disappointment, lack of motivation, or cluelessness when the expectations are not met.
In positive psychology, happiness is defined as a state of mind when an individual experiences satisfaction and contentment in general for a longer period of time. It is natural to experience negative emotions, even if an individual is happy in general, but the happiness mindset can help the individual in considering negative emotion as a tool to fix what is inappropriate by focusing on "what can be done and how can the situation improve". Since happiness is very personal and can differ for everyone, it is important to realize that finding out the right ingredients for what makes us satisfied and content is truly upon us. No one else can have the perfect list of ingredients for us, and happiness is a mindset which needs to be created from within ourselves. So, it is our responsibility to learn what works best for us and create our happiness.
Here are some of the activities which can help us create our own happiness: Appreciating ourselves- self-appreciation doesn't only form the basis of our lives but it is a stepping stone towards a better and loving world; Embracing every hurdle as a challenge - Take every hurdle as a challenge in helping you be the better version of you; Be content with the little things in life- Learn to appreciate the little things in life for they may be the big things in life for you in years to come; Surround yourself with the right kind of energy- The right kind of energy equals a peaceful mind and a heart filled with love; Doing what makes you happy- Follow your heart and above all enjoy yourself to the max!; Learning to prioritize yourself above everything else - Give yourself a chance to shine, heed to your needs, and try to fulfill them; Try new things- It could be a new hobby, sport or even new friends as long as you are happy at the end of the day!
Here are some questions to ponder!
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
2) Can happiness be measured?
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
Icebreaker:- Create your own happiness by doing at least 1 thing today which you enjoy and makes you feel happy and tell us what you did. <3

Lovely post ,with lots of lovely pink color haha. Thanks for the tag ❤
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
I believe true happiness is a state of mind , an emotion , feeling one feels when they are content and "happy" for /about something, one can feel happiness when their mind is a beautiful place enough to stack up some good /positive thoughts. For someone who "wants" to feel happy, just look around there are End number of reasons to feel happy ❤
2) Can happiness be measured?
I don't think happiness can be truly measured, it is a state of mind, one can feel extremely happy or experience euphoria for some reason and sometimes not much, it's an intangible concept and can't be measured rightfully, however it varies from person to persons :)
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
It shouldn't matter more than your own personal happiness, if someone else's happiness is an add on to yours, that's alright though ❤
Hope y'all are happy and smiling :) 🌻❤
What are the reasons for happiness?
The reasons for happiness are as individual as the people who pursue it. For some people, happiness is a warm meal. For others, happiness is a silent night. For another, happiness is being held with love.
Can happiness be measured?
Yes, I think we can measure it, rate it on a scale of 1-10. I also think we can habituate to it, that the goal-posts keep moving. We never "arrive" at happiness, we just snatch at it and enjoy it while it's in our hands.
Should someone else's happiness affect our own?
Yes and no. I think the world would be a much better place if we all felt each other's joys and sorrows. I think we should be concerned about each other. However, we must aslo remembe that we are not responsible for how other people feel. We're not responsilble for anyone else's happiness, except our own.
Today I will listen to classical music and sit outside under the trees.
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
There are many, and they vary a lot from person to person. The reasons can include knowing that we're doing our best to achieve our goals and make our difference, having by our someone supportive that cares about us, embracing the good things that we see around us.
2) Can happiness be measured?
I don't think it's possible, given how subjective it is. Everyone experiences happines in their own way, and though we may have our ideas on what happiness looks like, we shouldn't presume that other people experience things in the same way as we do, and therefore we can't give an objective measure to it.
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
It happens a lot, particularly with very empathetic people. However, it is important to establish healthy boundaries. While it's nice to be happy for other people when they're happy, we should learn to simpathize with people's unhappiness without letting it bring us down.

I went for bike ride in the nature!
1) What are the reasons for happiness? Life
2)Can happiness be measured?
No, the amount of happiness and how they experience it is unique to each person
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
If someone else is happy, it naturally can make you smile but someone's lack of happiness shouldn't result in a lack of happiness from you unless the situation requires it
Create your own happiness by doing at least 1 thing today which you enjoy and makes you feel happy and tell us what you did. <3
Went on a walk

I like to dance and write
@KristinHelps
1. Cats, a breathing nose, best friends.
2. I don't think happiness can be "measured" exactly. It can be referred maybe. People can say thay are happier than they were before.
3. If someone is happy, it's really good to feel happy for them. But if someone is not happy for days on end, its not okay to punish ourselves in the process. So...no.
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
Happiness comes in many ways! Such as, family, health, food, education, and nature!
2) Can happiness be measured?
Some, yes. Mostly, no. It depends on the situation!
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
Sometimes, yes. Especially the people around us who have bigger influence and impact on us daily.

Spending the weekend with my mom!
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
As Phil Dunphy said, 'Lower your expectations and you can almost always be happy'. So, happiness is kinda getting or experiencing something beyond your expectation.
2) Can happiness be measured?
There's no metric as such. Maybe that's why the English language has so many words that can describe our different levels of happiness. Those can be the closest measure of happiness. Eg Joyous, Excited, Ecstatic, Flabbergasted, Content, Accomplished, Happy, Hopeful, etc.
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
Absolutely not! Real happiness is the one that's independent of others.
@KristinHelps
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
Inner peace, better attitudes towards life
2) Can happiness be measured?
I think happiness is subjective
3) Should someone elses happiness affect our happiness?
If it's in a healthy way I suppose it can or should
1) What are the reasons for happiness?
Don't know how to answer that.
2) Can happiness be measured?
To a degree? I mean you can definitely tell when you're a little bit happy because you got your favorite color when your teacher passed out folders and when you're im-getting-married happy. But of course happiness isn't the sort of thing you can say I am 7.233% happy right now.
3) Should someone else
Yes it's always typhoid to empathize 😂 my gosh so many typos!
It's always good to empathize. We shouldn't let it go so far that we can't be happy about the things in our own lives.
