Some kind of shrews. I had to get a picture, because they made me happy. I wish I got a picture of the ostrich. I legit made friends with an ostrich. And got swindled by some donkeys...

It was a long uphill road to get to that view. So, I did the obvious thing and ran up the entire thing. I got an appointment reminder call at the top and I was almost too out of breath to answer. 😂

@jesusredeemedme2425 yep lots of times I've seen them from a distance (like on a hillside / field / nature reserve if driving by) and once or twice close up in a sanctuary but they're pretty shy of people:) I have seen wallabies though and fed them apple pieces 😁😁😁 (a wallaby is like a very small and v cute species of kangaroo - that was in a zoo sanctuary though, they don't come up to people irl)
Sometimes if a school oval is near some hills or a national park or something, they'll come across in the school holidays to eat the really green grass (and leave droppings there lol)

oh haha its a big grass area for playing sports and stuff - I guess its a sports field? but an oval / irregular shape lol - and its really green bc people water it all the time, so they like it to eat XD :)
