Horizon by unassumingEyes

...See more It's not my usual style, but Im sharing it here anyways:  I have often felt like a horizon, Real, but out of grasp, The receding glow of a setting sun, A rainbow you can't pass, Like the moon, so I have followed Wandering in search of dreams, Chasing ideality, Unraveling at the seams I was the falling sky, The city's to-do At the edge of ones memory Impossible, but true Now, the plants have wilted The little ones have grown Now, a tempting horizon, I stand, alive, alone I have not yet figured out how to change font size after copy-pasting :)

From a student to another

...See more People. Friends. Comrades. I can not stress this enough. Eat. Sleep. Take breaks. Please.  You might think thats easy for you to say. Its really, really not. I'm a student of grade 11, and I assure you it's no easy road to graduation. Sometimes I dont eat. Alot of times i dont take breaks. I do sleep, because strict parents, hey, but besides the point. Okay, look. We live in a world of resources. We might as well get something of it, and Im not talking about using AI for homework. Im talking about using AI to create quick, flexible schedules for the day. Time management is everything. Its also extremely hard. Dont study for your parents, this knowledge will go to waste. If you have loads of info to learn, make a table or flowchart . Too few students do this, when it actually speeds up time taken to learn it. It doesnt have to be pretty, fr Try replacing music with nature sounds as music can and does distract. Use mnemonics, they are hidden life savers, and AI can help make some quickly, although making your own can help you remember it. Seriously, you can do pages of work in minutes with mnemonics. Do mcqs if you catch yourself zoning out too much, especially for science subjects. Physics is basically a whole load of mcqs, honestly.   Use text to speech tools when you get too tired to read the work. Its easier to hear each sentence and then repeat it out loud till you learn it If you have 6 hours without breaks to study, you can still get 5.5 hours with 6 5-min breaks or two 15 min breaks . If you dont have time for meals, snack on healthy food (atleast fruits, dates, milk) while studying. Change location. All those "study areas" can get depressing really fast. And itll be difficult to hang out there when not studying- the vibe is officially ruined You know all of this. Majority of what i said is in all articles you find online. Whyd i say it? Because irl i get alot of questions "how do you study?". This is how.  If notes dont cut it, flashcards, mnemonics, tables, flowcharts and AI will.  If this post is useless, have mercy. This is all i got (If youre a Pakistan student and want resources, I know of useful sites and applications. But if you do a quick search im sure youll find some for any country's education) If anyone has app recs or tips, bring em on. Help a fellow out, but not at the expense of your sanity.

Out of The Corner/In The World

...See more Hi! Some of you might know of my other space here, In the corner. Or just, "the corner" in my head. This is the world! I.e this is me learning to "adult" (what?), get out of my comfort zone, accept my flaws, seek the positives in life, etc etc! My journey out of the comfort zone, basically. And it's going to be rocky, it's going to be real hard, and I'm going to end up in the corner venting about something more times than not, probably, but it's a step, I think.  Let's get out of the corner! (That was kinda cheesy!)

A Message To The Community
Poetry / by unassumingEyes

...See more A message to the young, A message to the old, A message to the hurt, hurting, To the shy and to the bold, A message to the insecure, The tired, and rightly so, To those ill without a cure, To those who wait to go, A message to the hopeful, Smiling rays of sun, And a message to the pained Who in terms of hope have none, A message to the confused, And also to the wise, To those feeling bemused, To those of silent cries A message to the people Hiding in the crowd And to the ones on stage, Voicing themselves out loud, A message to every type Of person, known or not As there is pain, there's goodness You only need to give some thought Let your eyes follow the children Helping tie each others shoes, Let your mind think of the kindness That doesn't make it to the news, Take some time, close your eyes Think of good, it may take a while Holding the door, a compliment, Helping and learning and teaching to smile Love, kindness, care and so We think these are what we don't intimately know A message to those who are learning to grow Our hearts, of kindness, tend to overflow - unassumingEyes

...See more Hey everyone! I have another question for you: What is your favourite part of cups? For me, forums are definitely my favourite part! Cups forums allow you to take part in interesting activities, Academy programs, fun games and ice-breakers. Forums are also a good way of staying connected to each other.  So what's your favourite part? Are you a forum-fan like I am? Do you prefer group chats or 1-1 chats with listeners?  ------------------------- This post is brought to you by the Content Development & Marketing Program.
