mindfulness I guess
Be friendly to yourself.
I learned that it's ok not to be perfect and fail sometimes.
Hello :) This is step 1750 for me!
I think my last milestone post I wrote at 1700. So in these 50 steps, what have I learned? For me these would be more *reminders, rather than new insight ........
1. I cannot do all the things I want to do, alone. Part of that for me is if someone offers to help me (and I really could use help - I just don't want to admit it) say yes and allow the person to help me. #Friends #EDSupport
2. Read more! First reading is fun. Second, I enjoy when I read someone else's ideas and when I can learn new things.
3. For right now at least, LISTEN to what my body is telling me. Tired? Okay, sleep. Hungry? Have a snack or meal (this one is very hard right now). Bored? Read a book. Tense? Go for a walk.
That's all folks! (for now anyway ) ~ Platy
I learnt to push foward all the time
I just reached my 50th step and Ive learned many things along the way but the most important one is that I am not wrong to feel a certain way. When I was growing up I was taught that showing emotion was wrong and crying was weak, but 7 cups is showing me that it is okay to be sad or angry sometimes as long as theres a good balance of other emotions.
An important tool that I learned is meditation. I always thought that it was stupid because I was too impatient to learn it but after meditating my mind feels so clear and I am a much better person to be around.
Its ok to take time to yourself
Step 80.
Im learning that it's OK to ask for help or advice.
:P
to realize that i won't always know exactly what to do, but that's okay
