Welcome to Group Leadership Dynamics & Development Program!

I am excited and glad to have you with us. We are here with you to provide all support and guidance during your learning journey. This has been something we believe helps you get a better understanding of group dynamics. Please find the course description below.

Course Description:

It focuses on the communication and leadership behavior of individuals within group structures. The theoretical and practical knowledge are used to explore the stages of group development, decision-making techniques, group dynamics, group problem and solving, group leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, norms, and interpersonal dynamics within groups.

Please also introduce yourself and let us (if you are comfortable) where you are from and your personality type.

If you do not know your personality type, you can take a quiz here to know it! Share the one strength that you think will help you out in becoming an effective group specialist.

Please remember, you are unique and have personal strengths and gifts that set you apart from others but you can utilize them to gather all and support them in a unique way that others might not even imagine of. You have that strength and personal gift. All you need to identify, acknowledge, amplify, and deliberately use them every day to strengthen yourself to provide support and strength to others.

Hello everyone! I'm Xe, I'm from India.
Thank you for having me on this program ^^

I don't really mush well with personality tests but I guess I can humor myself this once!
ENFJ-A is the result I got ^^ I can agree wholeheartedly to the A-Assertive haha
The strength I resonate with is being charismatic, which let's me handle social situations well, as I can pick up on moods and motivations of people and adjust myself to them, making the group more accommodating and understanding to the individual and helping bridge the gap between, involving, personal and community commitments. Increasing cooperation and ease in the communication among the participants.

Looking forward to learning and developing ^^

@ASilentObserver

Hi, I'm so glad to be a part of this program! I'm from Texas, USA, but currently live in India.

My Personality Type: ESFJ-T (Turbulent Consul)
Role: Sentinel
Strategy: Social Engagement

Mind: Extroverted
Energy: Observant
Nature: Feeling
Tactics: Judging
Identity: Turbulent

I think that my personality type reflects many of the strengths I have which would make me an effective group specialist. Firstly, my strategy is social engagement, which is an important factor required to be successful in group environments. I'm an extrovert which makes it easier for me to be able to communicate in the rooms and reach out to people. As I'm observant, I pay attention to what people say and notice the small things. This would help me ensure that I make everyone feel involved and that I don't accidentally ignore what someone might be trying to say. Lastly, feelings are really important for me, which helps me be more empathetic and caring towards those that I speak to. Although I do have these aspects to help me, I believe that I have a long way to go and a lot to learn to become an effective group specialist. I hope that I will be able to grow in this academy program and can't wait to get involved in the various opportunities.

@ASilentObserver I'm Assertive Logistician (ISTJ-A)

my top strength in rooms is that i am objective and fair, I always base my decisions based on logic. And in team work, i am highly organized. i have a lot of structure that help me to manage my team.
When I feel i'm unable to be objective, because i am feeling upset or in conflict, then i will remove myself and let an other mod take over.
