Welcome to Group Leadership Dynamics & Development Program!

I am excited and glad to have you with us. We are here with you to provide all support and guidance during your learning journey. This has been something we believe helps you get a better understanding of group dynamics. Please find the course description below.

Course Description:

It focuses on the communication and leadership behavior of individuals within group structures. The theoretical and practical knowledge are used to explore the stages of group development, decision-making techniques, group dynamics, group problem and solving, group leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, norms, and interpersonal dynamics within groups.

Please also introduce yourself and let us (if you are comfortable) where you are from and your personality type.

If you do not know your personality type, you can take a quiz here to know it! Share the one strength that you think will help you out in becoming an effective group specialist.

Please remember, you are unique and have personal strengths and gifts that set you apart from others but you can utilize them to gather all and support them in a unique way that others might not even imagine of. You have that strength and personal gift. All you need to identify, acknowledge, amplify, and deliberately use them every day to strengthen yourself to provide support and strength to others.

It will not only allow you to successfully complete this program but also help you to progress and grow on your personal and professional fronts too. You are taking a significant step towards learning and creating a difference.

Best wishes for your learning journey!!

Hey!

My personality type: INTJ

Some of the strengths of my personality type is that I'm driven by curiosity, have an independent mind, and determined. By independent mind they mean I'm not driven to do what others do.
Those traits help me accomplish tasks I set for myself and discover new hobbies.

Curious - Architects are open to new ideas – as long as those ideas are rational and evidence-based, that is. Skeptical by nature, these personality types are especially drawn to offbeat or contrarian points of view. They’re even open to changing their own opinions when the facts prove them wrong.

Independent- For these personality types, conformity is more or less synonymous with mediocrity. Creative and self-motivated, Architects strive to do things their own way. They can imagine few things more frustrating than allowing rules or conventions to stand in the way of their success.

Determined - Architect personalities are ambitious and goal-oriented. Whenever an idea or pursuit captures their imagination, Architects dedicate themselves to mastering the subject and gaining relevant skills. They tend to have clear visions of what it means for them to be successful, and few things can deter them from turning these visions into reality.

Some of my weaknesses are that I'm overly critical and combative.
Overly Critical - These personalities tend to have a great deal of self-control, particularly when it comes to thoughts and feelings. When the people in their lives fail to match their level of restraint, Architects can become scathingly critical. But this criticism is often unfair, based on arbitrary standards rather than a full understanding of human nature.

Combative - Architects hate blindly following anything without understanding why. This includes restrictions and the authority figures who impose them. People with this personality type can get caught up in arguing about useless rules and regulations – but sometimes these battles are distractions from more important matters.

Hi everyone, I'm Gozzil and I'm from the UK.

My personality type is defender (ISFJ). An ISFJ strength that will be useful as a group specialist is being supportive; ISFJs are willing to share their knowledge and resources with others and choose to use empathy in an effort to create win-win situations. My aim is to use these skills in the group rooms to keep things safe and supportive and let members feel heard.
