@guidamaximo
I thought your graphic was great, and the insertion of the 7 Cups logo on the cover of the laptop was clever. Your graphic was very clean and had a soothing palette and design, making it easy to read. You forgot to go over the authority part of your chosen article’s expertise, authority and trust! Other than that I thought you made a lot of very good points.
1. https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/how-do-you-cope-with-life
2. The article is concise and thorough, thus delivering all of the information the article’s readers require.
3. For expertise, the article was comprehensible and digestible, but the random full capitalization made flow difficult to maintain. There was not a whole lot of supplementary content, but since the end of the article goes into putting the positive coping skills into practice, a possible source of supplementary information would be how to put those skills into practice. For authority, there were no citations that could have helped support the article. However, 7 Cups does have brand authority which helps support the article. Trust was maintained through 7 Cups and a brief biography for the author of the article.
4.
Chosen Article: https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/post-traumatic-stress-disorder-the-different-types
3 Top Strengths of Article
Using the DSM 5 as a source provides a sense of trust with the authors content because the DSM 5 is the authority on how to diagnose mental health conditions.
The author was very thorough, yet concise in how she described the different types of PTSD and how they differ from one another
The author also provides the reader with empathy and hope by providing resources to help when someone is experiencing symptoms related to PTSD.
EAT from Article:
Expertise: author graduated from CDM Program, is a listener on 7cups, and has spent time learning about the topic.
Authoritativeness: has completed the CDM Program and had other articles published on 7cups
Trust: using reputable sources and providing accurate information about the topic.
@InvaderStitch
I love the graphic! I also did not know about Uncomplicated PTSD. I like how you are able to capture the article and what it talks about in one graphic to get people curious about the article. i know it made me curious to read it now.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
The article I read was What are the 3 types of Insomnia?
The three strengths is the empathic tone, it is very informative and is conversational.
Expertise – it was very informative. Biography mentions the graduation from the Content Development and Marketing Program.
Authoritative – they are clearly well educated on the topic.
Trustworthiness – trust worthy as it is a member of 7Cups and provides studies to support their content.
Love the graphics you created! The glitter gold border help catch the reader's attention, and the simplistic design make sure the message is clearly conveyed across.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
The article I picked was "What is Homophobia? Dealing With Homophobia Within the Family"
https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/what-is-homophobia-within-families
Strengths: empathic, Informative, and relatable
EAT:
Expertise: the author of the article shows they have experience in talking about mental health issues as an editor so it shows their expertise in publishing articles.
Authority: The author shows their authority by stating the Merriam-Webster definition of homophobia and giving an example of real-life homophobia "For example, someone may express distress over a gay couple hugging or holding hands in public - they may feel the couple should keep their feelings to themselves and that it shouldn't be a big deal, but would they ask the same of a straight couple? Probably not. "
Trust: The author used someone's story to explain what it was like having a homophobic experience at home. it shows great trust to share a personal story with an author to teach people about what homophobia can do to mental health not only yourself but to other people around.

https://www.7cups.com/experts/article/how-to-boost-your-self-esteem
Three top strengths that this article shows are giving the reader empathy and hope, being conversational and accessible in their writing and finally, they have ideas that will be sharable in social media. I believe that Kristin shows in her biography that she is an active member of the 7 Cups community and has done her research. She has clear references that are linked and used her experience in the community to lend to the content’s expertise. I believe that this article could use a touch of combining personal experiences with expert insight to strengthen their piece. Also, I think if Kristen included a few expert quotes and insights the article would really pop! This was a great article overall and I have used it as one of my suggested links in my own article.
Graphic to promote the article:
@broadfemmelovelive
I went through the article you reviewed and I think you did a good job. Really loved the graphic and the use of colors. It gave me ideas to incorporate 7cups logo more creatively unlike what I do so thank you for that. I also liked how you reviewed her on expertise out of EAT. Perhaps, you could also emphasize the A and T factors. Overall, I really liked it.
@broadfemmelovelive I love the colours you used for your graphic and the review you did was well written and easy to read! I love how you also went into a bit of detail regarding EAT, but I enjoyed reading your post
@broadfemmelovelive
Hey I really like your graphic that you have created and how creatively you have put the 7 cups logo! hmm maybe even I could have used the 7 cups logo too! but i could not really think of actually putting it.. Moreover, I also like the colour combination that you have used, that is, blue. I also like how you have written about the EAT factors regarding the article. However, I think you could have maybe written them in a bit more detail. You have also written about the best practices very clearly and precisely. So overall you have done a good job.
1. I read Busting the 9 Biggest Myths and Misconceptions About ADHD.
- Links to many different sources to read more about the respective topic.
- Give people with ADHD hope and empathy
- The article is easily readable with the different fonts signaling importance of each section.
3. EATs break down
- Expertise - The author mentioned that they were pursuing the career path of being a clinical psychologist. Along with some of the other certifications they've received from doing training on 7Cups such as Active Listening levels 1-4 certificates.
- Authoritativeness - The author mentioned that they have successfully completed other academy programs from 7Cups such as Group Leadership & Dynamics and Development Program, 7 Cups Internship, Quality Listening Program, Leadership Development Program, Building Community Program, and the Content Development and Management Program. This means they completed all 6 programs that were ever available which is quite an accomplishment.
- Trust - They've gone above and beyond by taking on various leadership roles on the 7Cups platform helping out others in their journey. Along with their passion for mental health topic overall.

@SoulfullyAButterfly
Article picked from the Expert Section- Mental Health Recovery Story: Self-Harm by Allison Moore.
Three top strengths of the article- The article is empathetic, kind, helpful and informative. It is empowering as the writer has shared her own experience and enriched the article by her personal experience, connecting it to the readers who might have felt what the author has felt. It empowers the readers and motivates them to take a step forward in the right direction. The article also avoids terms as “illness”, “disease”, “condition” and successfully avoids using a language that would propagate mental health stigma. The article is concise and conveys what intends to without deviating. The article also generates hopes for the readers and is able to provide a solace to the readers who feel the same and do not want to feel alone.
Reviewing for EAT-
Expertise – The content being posted on 7cups and being reviewed by the editors refers to its expertise. The article is also authored by someone who has personally experienced the issue and this first-hand issue also reflects the expertise of the author. The content is also comprehensive. The back-linking also adds to the expertise of the content.
Authority – The authority of the content is reflected in it being posted on 7cups. The authority of the author can also be determined in the other articles the author has published and this factor can be increased by the author by generating more content.
Trust – Trust is reflected in the website the content is being posted on and other quality contents being posted is also a reflective of the same. Inclusion of author’s biography also adds to it.

@Jish07541
Hey Jish, this is a really great review of the article! A tip to consider : Do link the articles that you review so that it is easier to find ⭐
So ... I think you did really well, as I myself find that the article is very informative, which reflects the author's knowledge and research. You mentioned about the author's article and how it was published, which is a point that I might have missed!
Do take care of your grammar and spellings though, check "The author has well researched well the topic", "has provided an expert viewpoints", "comrbidities" and "the author being a interested in mental health", "other aspectsof PTSD" (This is just for good practice 😊)
For any of the EAT factors, you could also mention it in terms of the 7 Cups platform and its reviews or popularity, that's a bonus!
Overall, good job!
