I think it's anxiety 2

worryBear July 6th, 2023

Whenever i feel nervous, i started to do mistakes. For example, i want to press multiply. In calculator but pressing other button instead. And people that see me tell me to keep calm. I think it's anxiety

I can relate to you. Sounds like increased anxiety and it's totally understandable that it's affecting your focus. Whenever someone asks you to keep calm, you could take a moment to breath and center yourself.

Additionally mindfulness exercises might also help.

@worryBear So sorry to hear your feeling and it is totally understandable that the feelings might interfere your daily behaviors. Don't worry, anxiety can almost always be helped. I've went through those stages in the past and those experiences made me stronger than ever. Do you ever consider to try some mindfulness therapies coping with it?

@worryBear Anxiety does have that effect on our brain. It makes a meter feel like a mile and it becomes so overwhelming. It can be really frustrating. Aknowledging this is an important step towards healing.

@worryBear I understand that. Anxiety can overwhelm us and make us overthink. It can feel like our brains a bit fuzzy too. When you notice you’re anxious and making these little mistakes, try putting it down/stopping and taking some deep breathes. When we hit panic mode, a lot of logical thought goes out of the window so it’s always good to try and bring ourselves out of that panic if we can. You’re not alone in this and I’m always happy to talk if you would like. <33

I totally get where you're coming from! It's like your brain goes into overdrive, and even the simplest tasks become a struggle. I've had those moments too, where I meant to hit one button but end up pressing something totally different.It's totally understandable that others might notice and suggest you chill out. Have you found any tricks that help you calm those nerves when they start acting up? Sometimes taking a breather or doing a quick mindfulness exercise can help take the edge off. Hang in there—you're definitely not alone in this! 😊

@worryBearHey Bear, I'm really sorry to hear that anxiety has been making it hard for you to do everyday tasks. It's completely natural to feel overwhelmed by it sometimes. You've taken a brave step by reaching out, and it's great that you're acknowledging how you're feeling. What are some strategies or techniques you could try to cope with those moments when your anxiety feels particularly strong?

@worryBear

Hey Bear! Stress is represented mentally and physically in various forms. I'm glad you reached out for support! It's ok if you're making mistakes due to stress, it's not your fault. What are some relaxation methods that you have tried out? I saw other replies mention deep breathing and counting etc, which are quite effective in calming a person down. I hope you find the support you seek and develop good coping mechanisms! Feel free to request personal chats if you feel like talking 💛
