Sometimes it's better to have someone who'd just listen to us! So why not considering me as that one person😊

...See more In the garden of my heart, seeds of love I sow, Nurturing each tender shoot, watching them grow. In the mirror's gentle gaze, I see beauty shine, Embracing all I am, in this moment, divine. ~✨Sky✨

...See more ~ Image Credit <Pinterest>  A rough poem using the very first prompt- Open wound In the quiet of the night, stars alight, Whispers of dreams take their flight. A gentle breeze, a soft embrace, Nature's lullaby, a soothing grace. In the depths of the heart, emotions play, A symphony of life, night and day. Love's tender touch, a balm so sweet, In its embrace, all troubles meet. Through life's journey, we walk alone, Yet surrounded by stories, yet unknown. Each step a dance, a rhythm unique, In the grand tapestry, we find our peak. So let us cherish each moment dear, For time flies fast, drawing near. In the melody of life, let's find our song, And in its echo, we'll forever belong. ~Sky
First Snow

...See more A rabbit has stopped on the gravel driveway:            imbibing the silence,            you stare at spruce needles:                                           there's no sound of a leaf blower,                                            no sign of a black bear; a few weeks ago, a buck scraped his rack            against an aspen trunk;            a carpenter scribed a plank along a curved stone wall.                         You only spot the rabbit's ears and tail: when it moves, you locate it against speckled gravel, but when it stops, it blends in again;            the world of being is like this gravel:                         you think you own a car, a house,                         this blue-zigzagged shirt, but you just borrow these things.  Yesterday, you constructed an aqueduct of dreams                         and stood at Gibraltar,                                                 but you possess nothing. Snow melts into a pool of clear water;      and, in this stillness,                         starlight behind daylight wherever you gaze.  ~ ARTHUR SZE [https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poets/arthur-sze] https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poets/arthur-sze
The Oak Tree

...See more The Oak Tree A mighty wind blew night and day. It stole the oak tree's leaves away, Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark Until the oak was tired and stark. But still the oak tree held its ground While other trees fell all around. The weary wind gave up and spoke, "How can you still be standing, Oak?" The oak tree said, "I know that you Can break each branch of mine in two, Carry every leaf away, Shake my limbs, and make me sway. But I have roots stretched in the earth, Growing stronger since my birth. You'll never touch them, for you see, They are the deepest part of me. Until today, I wasn't sure Of just how much I could endure. But now I've found, with thanks to you, I'm stronger than I ever knew."  ~Johnny Ray Ryder, Jr.
