Learn about Communities and earn a badge!
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. As you know lately we have been making efforts to familiarise our users with our sub-communities. We had some success with sub-community workshops but we also want to do the training on a larger scale. It does not take a lot to understand the basics of sub-communities. By the end of doing the activities/steps in this post, you should be ready to explore sub-communities on your own.
Anyone who completes all of the following steps and lets us know in this thread will get the explorer badge.
Step 1: Watch this video
Step 2: Complete this Quiz
Step 3: Post here and let us know that you did step 1 and 2 and what you learned/liked about the video/quiz.
Thank you to @Tazzie for creating the video and the quiz.
Once you have received the explorer badge, you become eligible to take part in the Building Community Program. Find more information here
@Hope
I learned from step 1 and 2 about the basic knowledge of sub community, forums, groups. It was easy but I liked it !
@Hope
I did steps 1 and 2. Scored 10 of 10 points. Liked that I got to learn about the second way to access the group support chats.
Steps 1 & 2 โ๏ธ 7/10
@Hope
I received 10/10. I liked the explanation of what and where the subcommunities are. I have always been a little confused about the difference between those and forums and communities in general.
@Hope
I scored 8/10 on the quiz, will I receive an explorer badge?
@ArianKae You have the badge on your profile! Well done!
@Hope
I completed step 1 and 2.
The quiz was fast and easy, my only complaint was that is was a little difficult to understand the speaker in the video, as they speak very quietly with a strained voice and many pauses in between words. Listening with closed captions on helps this.
@Hope
I scored an 8/10!
@Hope
Woww the video as well as the quiz were great and i learnt a lot of new things about forum and subcommunities.
Thankyou so much for this ๐
@Hope
I have finished step 1 & 2. I have learnt how to navigate and post in a community
I have finished the steps. Even though the lay-out of the forum changed a little compared to when this was made, it's still a great resource for people who are new to 7Cups ๐
