Learn about Communities and earn a badge!
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. As you know lately we have been making efforts to familiarise our users with our sub-communities. We had some success with sub-community workshops but we also want to do the training on a larger scale. It does not take a lot to understand the basics of sub-communities. By the end of doing the activities/steps in this post, you should be ready to explore sub-communities on your own.
Anyone who completes all of the following steps and lets us know in this thread will get the explorer badge.
Step 1: Watch this video
Step 2: Complete this Quiz
Step 3: Post here and let us know that you did step 1 and 2 and what you learned/liked about the video/quiz.
Thank you to @Tazzie for creating the video and the quiz.
Once you have received the explorer badge, you become eligible to take part in the Building Community Program. Find more information here
@Hope
I completed one and two and learned how to access forums, which I had been on forums before but didn't know how to access them, or even that I could join sub communities and their forums.
@Hope
Is this even valid anymore. The sight shown in the video does not look like the current configuration.

Done the steps.
I learned how to create unique content by making a thread.

@Hope
Hi there,
I have watched the video and completed the quiz. I enjoyed watching the video but I found it hard to hear the person who created the video and I felt a little unprepared to take the quiz after watching it. I've been volunteering here for about 3 years so I used my knowledge from experience rather than using my knowledge from the video. I felt more confident after scoring 9/10 on the quiz.
I hope I didn't offend anyone for saying this!!
Thank you for having me here on 7 cups.
