Learn about Communities and earn a badge!
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. As you know lately we have been making efforts to familiarise our users with our sub-communities. We had some success with sub-community workshops but we also want to do the training on a larger scale. It does not take a lot to understand the basics of sub-communities. By the end of doing the activities/steps in this post, you should be ready to explore sub-communities on your own.
Anyone who completes all of the following steps and lets us know in this thread will get the explorer badge.
Step 1: Watch this video
Step 2: Complete this Quiz
Step 3: Post here and let us know that you did step 1 and 2 and what you learned/liked about the video/quiz.
Thank you to @Tazzie for creating the video and the quiz.
Once you have received the explorer badge, you become eligible to take part in the Building Community Program. Find more information here

Completed step 1 & 2
I liked to have a basis or foundation of terminology (common ground) that is being used.

I loved seeing and understanding how to navigate 7 cups. This place is HUGE and it helps
Done! The video is informative but also has a slow and halting narration that makes it difficult to understand (perhaps improve the narration and add subtitles for clarity, especially for our friends in the disability community). The quiz was accessible and easy to complete.
Done, and done! It was actually pretty simple after watching the video. It can seem a bit overwhelming to delve into the community page at first. π΅
@Hope
Done. I liked the fact that there are many different ways to get support here.

I didn't know that was Tazzie's voice until I reread the post. The video added new meaning to me doing this activity. We still have some her presence within in the community. She did a lot for the sub communities. I miss her creative activities which kept everyoneΒ engaged.Β

@Hope Done! I like how organized everything is. I got to learn about how to better navigate 7cups communities and subcommunities which I did not know before.

I learned all about subcommunities since I hadn't heard of them at all before.
Watched the video and did the quiz, got a 10/10! I liked it because it offers a general overview of what to expect and can be done within our sub communities. Great for starters, or veterans who just want to refresh their memory π»π
