• I believe everyone has a story to share. When our stories reach each other, when we can be heard - that is when we feel the most human. Whoever you are, I'd love for you to share your story 📖 because it deserves to be heard.
• Warmth, empathy, and compassion are what I value the most. Happiness isn't a zero-sum game; giving warmth is what makes me feel warm inside too!
• Everyone deserves to feel safe. No matter what you did or have gone through in the past, you deserve a place without judgement as you work towards becoming your best, most authentic self. I am not here to pass judgement or tell you what to do, I am here to work with you. I believe in you!

A bit about me:

Issues I have had personal experience with are listed in the "topics" section below! I am a Chinese-Canadian high school girl who loves to bake, do calligraphy, has a super cute cat, and used to have more hobbies before I was hit with all my work. I do a lot of social justice advocacy outside of school nowadays. I love nature and sometimes go sailing in the summer, but the outdoor activity I miss the most is going on overnight canoe trips in Algonquin park. Also, if you have any music recommendations feel free to slide into my dms and I'd really appreciate that! I love any music!

When I am feeling down, sometimes I read a webcomic/webtoon called space boy. It's a sci-fi mystery/romance. I could talk about it all day but I'll just say it's super wholesome, all the characters feel so real, and it is my peace and happy place. I can't say it fits into any particular genre, but if you like slice of life with a really deep underlying plot, check it out because it's amazing! :D It has so many great lessons in it that I've been sure to implement in my own life.
