Hello! I'm SereneRainbow286, and I know how it feels not to have anyone to talk to. I felt like I could be doing better things with my life, so I decided to become a listener so that I could help people! My goal is to study psychology some day and become a therapist so that I can help even more people with their problems. I have directly experienced many issues that you have, including self-esteem issues, bullying, breakups, family stress, LGBTQ+, panic attacks, PTSD, and more that I do not want to list. I am pansexual, and I'm a transgender male. I feel comfortable discussing anything that comes to your mind and I look forward to talking to you!

...See more Trigger warning here of course. Self harm. The other day, I was thinking about the fact that I was close to a relapse. I had been self harm free for about three months at that point. Now, I've been self harm free for two hours. I cut myself again. I wish I hadn't, but it's ok. We all have our ups and downs. I feel terrible about it, but I was right. I was close to relapsing. I wish that it could be easier, but it will be after a while.

...See more I haven't made a recovery thread in quite a while. I was correct about the re-lapse, and it's still going on. I've been getting better at resisting the urge to cut, but I've been having that urge more than I normally have lately. I started cutting on my leg so that my parents don't see it and I'm generally anxious about the thought that I'm probably going to start cutting regularly again. I'm trying not to forget that I don't have to relapse and that I have a choice. Thanks for reading.

...See more Today I've been having a lot of trouble. I started to get very anxious earlier while I was thinking about Thanksgiving, like I always do, and I cut again. I've been having a lot of trouble lately and I am I afraid to admit that I am starting to re-lapse.

...See more Have you ever heard of a skill box? I think that it is a great coping method that can be a replacment for self harm. A skill box is a box full of items that can help you cope. For example, you might put a coloring book, puddy, a letter to your self, or anything else that can help you cope. I think it is a great replacment for self harm, and I think that you should try it!

...See more Ever since I was born, my parents have both been alchoholics, and addicted to drugs. It was obvious to my mother, but my father never commited t the fact that he was an addict. I never noticed until one night when my mother got very drunk and drove her way home, and when she got inside started falling over. I was sobbing at the time. Since then, my mother has been to rehab. It was hard for her, but I am proud of her for getting her life together. Both my father and my mother have started going to meeting as well, and I am grateful for that. My mother goes to classes associated with her rehabilitation centre. I am very grateful for this. Thank you for listening to my story.
