Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

They could be itchy because they're quite recent or because you've got exscema or something alot of reasons
If it's been a short while since you've cut and they're still dry-red. Then they'll most likely itch, and they'll sting in water. If they're tending to be brown-ish, then they'll most likely stop itching, soon.

because that is a sign of your body healing and learning how to rebuild itself again. you are growing a new skin, figuratively speaking and a new life
Because they are healing. New skin is starting to form over them and this will cause that. And over time your scars will fade.
This may be because you are remembering the initial feeling of the injury. Or it may be that there is an infection present either way you should speak to a Doctor

Every body takes a different amount of time to heal. The physical cuts may have healed, but scars are always healing. Healing can cause itchiness.
The healing process of tissues in the body is complex. Scabs and scars can continue to itch for a long time. Do your best not to scratch and remind yourself that you are healing.
It's a part of the healing process. They will itch for about a week. It doesn't last very long though.
this itching may be due to the healing process. It may also be due in part to some dryness of the skin overlying the scar. it is partly to due to the fact that small nerve endings that were cut some how.
In my personal experience they do itch, I don't know why but I think it may be because they are healing

Because your nerves can feel the temperature. They react to cold, so usually when the temperature is low they start to itch. It's nothing dangerous. And it goes away after a while. I had the same thing :)
After a while, your body starts to heal and part of that creates an itching sensation as the skin begins the healing process.
it is just a part of the healing process. Once they heal completely then the itching should go away.
Because they haven't completely healed and you still need to give them some time. Try to put some scar cream on there!
I don't know how long ago what you got a scar from i am guessing it is self harm correct? yes, that is normal it is just the scar tissue and nerves making it feel itchy it is apart of the healing process i still deal with it too. Nothing to stress over, hun.
take care
I have two types of scars... flat ones and keloid (raised up) ones. They take a long time to heal for me. I've read that scarring disrupts the nerves of the skin for some reason, and that causes more itching. I'd encourage someone to talk with their physician to see about they why issue and if there is a solution if it is a frequent thing.
This means that they are healing. Mostly because blood is still rushing to try to heal that area. More cells are being made, making it itch.
The itching sensation is from the chemicals in your body healing the skin around the wound. They will itch until they heal almost entirely.
Scars itch because you seem to be remembering the times they were healing. They remind you of the dark past that you don't want to go back to. Your scars are a reminder of how low you felt but how you've grown from them.

It depends on how recent the scars are. Sometimes while they heal you can feel the natural reaction which can result in itchiness and puffiness.
Because they are still healing under the skin. Any irritants to the body the body send signals that it's not right.

Your scars should not be scratched but they are itchy becuase the skin is irritated from the scab so the feeling of itchyness is sent to your brain making you feel itchy. Dont scratch.

Probably because they are still healing, or just thinking about them and the reason why you got them might provoke the itchiness in your mind
