I take breaks during the day, enjoy reading or listening to music, and make time for exercise and sleep🫶

Today, I started the day with yoga, did a brief exercise, took a nap at lunch and did a meditation. Later on, I will exercise again.

My self - care is writing in my journal or reading a book. I also wind down doing meditation and yoga.
@AshleyNFlewellenLPC for self care I do art and crafts, I have a great evening relaxing routine. I do gentle exercises every day with my carers 😁 ❤ and I smile and laugh an awful lot😁
@AshleyNFlewellenLPC Hello :) For self care I like to do yoga with my fiancé in the mornings before we head off to work. At night time, I like to set aside a few minutes everyday to do something I enjoy. Some examples are reading, doing puzzles, or completing a stickers by number page while listening to an audiobook. If you haven't tried stickers by number I highly recommend!!

I have never learned to take care of myself. I've always spent my life taking care of others. Now that my kids are grown, they tell me to take care of myself but I don't know what to do or how to start.
