What kinds of creative things do you do - post a picture here in this thread. If have trouble loading pic, save to your device & load file from device
this is a watercolor I did when I was thinking this world needs a little peace. what looks like the moon or the sun is actually the flash reflecting off the glass in the frame. But I think it is a nice effect. soulsings
Tutorial to post pictures (works on browser login not on app login)
- Save picture file with Alpha letters only - no symbols like % $ # etc
- Save picture as JPG file. If pic is other format you can open it in a photo editing program and save it as JPG or jpeg that ends in .jpg
- The picture adding tool is in the tool bar above the post you are doing in a rectangle with trees in it. It is located to the left of the link icon just right of middle of the page. Click on that.
- You get two options upload from your device by clicking on Choose Files or give web address. I find the most reliable way is to upload from my device clicking on Choose Files
- Many websites that host pictures do not work maybe because they do not store them as JPG files.
- It is always interesting to know a little bit about the pic so type in some text.
- Remember to click on Update Post when finished.
Someone asked me to see if the app worked with posting a pic. My first attempt did not work with the app did not post pic nor did the 2nd attempt. I logged out of the 7 cups app and I logged in to 7cups on phone in a browser on phone (or computer) and it works fine. Sorry for you app only users.
If anyone else can post a pic with the app, please let me know what your method is by message at is. www.7cups.com/@soulsings

Hello eveyone!
This is my secret little hobby. Very few people know I sketch every now and then.
This was finished today. A friend of mine (who actually has seen something I have sketched before) asked me if I could do a drawing from a photo. It will be framed and then given to the couple on the drawing at their 50th birthday-party.

Watercolor
@HealingTalk I like this, the ocean is so pretty!
@adventurousBranch3786
Thank you Branch!
I am glad you liked it!
I love so much the ocean!
It's mesmerizing to me.
Maybe that helped...
I do stuff like this...
@slowdecline48 These are great! I love the picture of the clouds :)
@slowdecline48
Very impressive how you captured the clouds!
@amiablePeace77 @mytwistedsoul
Thanks. As usual, the audience's preference is different from my own....personally, I consider d. klein one of my better works in the last few years. Anyone who is aging with chronic conditions would understand it immediately.
@slowdecline48
I especially love the cane. I like your choice of handle. It's the kind my grandfather preferred, too.
@GoldenNest2727 Your grandfather was brilliant. 😃 ...but seriously, that was one of the things I learned when I had to start walking with a cane. A flat or slightly curved handle with enough thickness for support is better than the "shepherd's crook" handle that many mass-produced wooden canes have.
This is one of my stitch-outs. I have the software to digitize my own designs now, but I'm procrastinating on taking the lessons to learn it. Got too many irons in the fire. I'll get to it. I'll post some more as I go...
@EmbStitcher33 A sky puppy! This is so cool!
@mytwistedsoul
Thank you. Forgot to mention that the wings are adjustable. That's why the white brads.
@EmbStitcher33
I love it, love the detail. Hope you get to your lessons soon I had to learn that sometimes it really works better doing one thing at a time.
@EmbStitcher33
Wow, you are multitalented. Making stuff/being creative is definitely your thing. I'm impressed!
@EmbStitcher33
I love that xD it’s so cool and funny at the same time!
@EmbStitcher33
Awesome and funny too!
@EmbStitcher33 😄 Nice.
Here's one for you, if you feel like using it...
You can't trust subatomic particles: they never stay put.
I love to draw but I'm a long way from actually being any good
@Icantthink007
I believe as long as it is fun, relaxing or you get any other benefit it's worthwhile to do and many things do actually improve with practise! Would love to see one of your drawings. 😊
@Icantthink007
I'd love to see your drawings if you ever feel like sharing. No pressure though.
I like gaming to appreciate the 3D artists. I love to do In-Game-Photography.
Many games include a virtual camera where you can pause the game, then move the camera, adjust focus, exposure, depth of field etc.
Cyberpunk 2077 - Night City Temple
-
ABZU - You play as a mermaid and you can ride the big fish.
-
Far Cry Primal - I got this game to play with prehistoric virtual pets.
Then I named them after The Simpsons pets.
-
Mad Max Sandstorm
@Positron2
Great pictures. I love Stampy but I also like the sandstorm with the light in the sky!
@Positron2
You know, I typically miss the artistic work that goes into creating gaming worlds. The backgrounds just kind of fade in and out. You're right, though, they're actually really artistic and worthy of appreciation. Thanks for making me more aware. I love your pics, Posi. Nicely done.
I wrote this little poem a long time ago. I remember it always. It's for my dad. I'm so thankful he was my dad, and that I had him as long as he could be my dad. Those old 'missing' feelings came up again recently so I made this up for my dad:
Picture removed by posters request
@EmbStitcher33
Hugs EmbStitcher33. That's very beautiful!
@EmbStitcher33 a very sensitive tribute to your dad.
I feel sadness when I think of life this way but that is how it is on the physical level.
@EmbStitcher33
Beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss and clearly your father brought lots of wonderful moments into your world and it's a really meaningful way to remember him with your poem and the picture.
I hate this app its so stressful. I can't physically find my original post/reply yet people are bumping it up.... Stressssss
