3 Key Things!
Please post here 3 key things you have done to help move 7 Cups forward. I will be doing this on a daily basis. Feel free to do it daily, weekly, or monthly. Right now we've got thousands of people doing a lot of work on the site, but we don't have a clear way of being able to support one another. The goal of this thread is to help all of us see all the good work that is going on. Please ask any questions or share thoughts!

3. Review and updating of scripts for administration of the session rating scales for therapists (and eventually listeners)

I think it's funny that I have the nerve to say this to the owner of the joint. Hey, even the bosses should be shown some appreciation. I'm really glad this gave you a chuckle also! I'm glad you see it in the spirit it is intended too! (Sounds like your sense of humor is firmly intact as well). It's true, I have to express gratitude for what all of this is here on this site. It's funny though when an underling tells you, well ok, I think you did a good job, but just today, keep up the good work.....lol.
What might make you laugh even more is that I just refer to Glen as OG. I guess in slang terms it means "the orginal gangster", lol.....Okay, that works too or it means the "orginal Glen", the man that set this whole ball in motion! In my humble opinion, a sense of humor can really help some days around here.
And hey now, I think you are doing pretty good too. I guess I'll keep you around. loloollloooool, but hey, I'm watching you....big *hugs*

1) Faced my fear of looking through my finances to figure out what I had to cut (went a lot better than I'd expected)
2) Stood up for myself and asked for some changes in a new employment contract
3) Re-started with 7 Cups

@Karrot thanks, I'm not a great fan of conflict, so it was a step outside my usual comfort zone.

Many thanks my friend! You have no idea what your support has meant to me along the way here on 7 cups! I learn here each and every day and I have learned so very much from you. Even when you didn't realize that you were teaching someone. I sit back and watch the behavior of others. I think we has people can have a natural inclination to learn from others that are doing the right thing.Thank you for doing the right thing! Thank you for being the example around here! You have always been someone that I want to model my behavior from. Big *hugs* I look forward to learning more from you along my growth path as a listener!
@SparkyGizmo Awwww Gizzie thank you so much and now I am crying like a baby you mean the world to me and saying all this was so needed to be heard by me I really beat myself up so much and do not believe I am really good at anything . I have thought of leaving the site many times because of several reasons but I keep staying around to help others and just be a part of their life online and hopefully when they leave from a chat or from a chatroom that I made a difference.
I believe you are one of the BEST on this site and you motivate me and so many others and I can see that you will tackle any role here and conquer it and help so many more than you have already ..

Oh my gosh, I think we must have hit the "enter" button at the same time. You and I were typing independently of one another. You matter, your work matters, people learn from you and see you. They see your goodness and see your efforts. They see how very much you care. Again, thank you for the the example for me! *hugs*

2 peer support chats. I was the proud recipient of this type of thing. Didn't ask for it, but others around me care, just gave freely and want to make sure I'm on the right track. To uplift me, encourage me, check in and share with me all that they have and to develop me! Thanks for seeing the light behind my eyes. Thank you for believing in me! big *hugs*
