I'm a newbie (technically, I'll get to that) and honestly life's a rollercoaster right now. I'm a young adult and I guess I needed an anonymous place to talk about my problems... I've been on the other side of this site as a listener when life was up but now here I am 😂

@Hope Last couple of days have been awful and very challenging or testing to say the least. I'm very hard on myself and now my mind keeps telling me "you're never gonna be sh*t , why even try." And I'm just so upset because I thought I'd been doing great with not only combating negative thinking and depression and (doing the work) to keep it at bay.. also just remaining stable in the bipolar journey, taking my meds, self care, not smoking weed anymore etc. etc.. but now I'm just like feeling so defeated 😕 😞. Lot of things in life coming at me at once . And I don't want to give up and stay in bed for a week and hide.. but I'm not feeling encouraged or hopeful at all to get moving with a plan of action.. keep taking my meds, shower, eat, socialize, get out the house etc. I am sad and so frustrated I have been doing fairly well for almost 3 years straight. & now I'm feeling like I can't even get or complete basic things done or daily maintenance of life😔 😟 🙁 😥. I guess I'm rambling and venting , not sure I'm even communicating clearly but I'd like some advice or words of encouragement or even tough love advice I'll take bc I know we all go through similar struggles. Thanks so much 🙏🏼 😔 I just CANT afford to get stuck again. And I have a precious 5 year old daughter depending on me n me only . 😔. I gotta do better . I don't know WHAT is wrong with me. 😔

@Flawlessdiamond22 nothing is wrong with you depression mess with your mind I suffer from it to it makes you feel hopeless and worthless but you’re not worth of feeling happy hopefully. I know it’s hard just taking it one step at a time one thought at a time and one day at a time. Hang in there.👍😊

Hi everybody my name is Samantha I’m a brain cancer survivor. Because of the cancer I’m both physically and mentally disabled I’m blind in one eye have pre dementia osteoporosis osteopenia an over curvature of my spine. I don’t let this stuff bring me down I lived with my dad until he passed away in October 2021 I stayed with different family members for five months after my dad passing so we could get the house my dad and I live cleaned up. I don’t mind living on my own but because I can’t drive I’m alone a lot it does get lonely being on my own so much.
I discovered 7Cups today and just signed up. I have no expectations and don't know what I will find here. I see a huge mix of people with a large array of experiences and challenges. While I am trying to identify and understand my own struggles and their causes and what I can do make my life better -- I will surely learn from others here. The first step is overwhelming.
