Yay it's Saturday! It's one of my goals to sleep earlier...but I didn't get to successfully sleep at 10:30pm, instead it was 1am...yet there was some good self care I was able to fit into the late night. It just makes me feel good for there to be quiet in the house, and I'm able to play all the music I like on my phone...and I talked to a new listener yesterday. He really kept me company, and I haven't had...company..all week. I was able to talk to my cousin last week and I haven't seen them in 6+ months since they're in another state. It made me want to travel to their side of the family. I should take the opportunity...I have family in California, Pennsylvania, Boston.....whyyy why am I not visiting when I could? I was extremely extremely sad in the beginning of the week since I hated myself for not finding work. I'm feeling too scared to go out there...I am such a disorganized and lazy person...no one would want me.
I just want to live. So right now, I'm just trying to be happy in the present, but I feel I'm not doing enough

yay indeed! I mean, you cannot except to not join in "yay"-ing when the opportunity arises :P
It is a really good plan to get more sleep but also just finding more time for yourself just to relax, recharge sounds really nice as well. :)
I mean, one of my favourite things as well is to just fine some good music - or something that really fits the atmosphere - and try to just put my headphones up and allow myself to get lost in the music. It can really be awesome. :)
I am glad to hear that you have found such a nice listener to talk to yester and also that you have been able to talk with your cousin last week as well. It can be certainly a good thing to spend time with loved ones but reconnecting with people can be hard. I mean, maybe you can try to visit a few of those relatives through this year and, for a start, just exchange some contacts and chat a little bit with them. I mean, baby steps. :)
You know, when I was looking for this current job of mine I was really down in the gutter and it was not pretty. I have managed to get into a start up which just simply needed a lot of people quickly to set up their operation and, I would have never thought, but it has been three years now and it has worked out. I mean, the things is, it is always worth trying, it's essentially free and you just need one employer to actually give you a job. No pressure tho. but the point I am trying to make is that to go out there and try your best and I believe in you, I believe in that you can find a job. :)

Oh, I am sorry to hear that you are feeling like that.
I know this usually pretty unique to each and every one but for me it actually helped to make plans with an online friend like the other side fot he world. I mean, the point is not that I have been doing it with them but I have someone who knew about things that I wanted to do but usually the lack of motivation stopped me from doing them. They were never really pushy there but just asking sometims how is x going? or how was x? - it kind of helped me to push myself. Not for myself but rather to not let them down.
I mean, I am not sure if this is an option for you but, anyway, I though I might share.
What kind of things do you like/have you liked doing?

I am doing ok today, I suppose. I am feeling a bit nervous, and anxious, but it is not too bad.
This week was also ok. Sort of challenging, but I managed. I confessed difficult stuff in therapy and as soon as I did I felt so much lighter. Started uni again... this is exciting (and a little bit scary too!).
As for self-care, these past few days I've mainly been reading and cooking myself nice meals. I am planning to go to the restaurant tonight with my daughters and a friend. When we come home and as soon as the girls are asleep, I want to do some arts.

I am....ugh....this week was tough. I have got two teeth pulled last Sunday and it is not really healing quickly so that made things just that much tougher. Thank you for asking :)

After such a busy week you definitely deserve to just have a nice and relaxing weekend. Opening up at therapy is definitely really hard and draining but I am really proud of you that you have done so. :)
Also, university is always that sort of scary but exciting experience for sure! :)
I am glad to hear that you have taking such a good care of yourself still throughout this week and found some time for yourself just to read and recharge. Also, I hope that your day will go according to your plans. Going out for a dinner and just spending time with a friend and your daughters sound really nice and practicing art can be a really amazing way of just expressing yourself. :)

I am sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time dealing with your anxiety. I know that it can make it really tough to just stay focused on things but I want you to know that you are not alone in this here. :)

Hello @redmark ! How are you?
I'm a little tired but that's okay.
We had a horrible blizzard here in Canada and the power went out for a couple of days. I only got it back a few minutes ago actually haha. Apparently we got over 90 cm of snow and record-breaking windspeeds, around 200 km/h ! It was crazy! My city even declared a state of emergency because it was that bad! My family (though I am not fond of them) and I are safe, and hopefully our city will return to normal within the next few days.
I have not done much self-care lately because I was so focused on the storm, but there's no school tomorrow, so maybe I can take a small breather, maybe get some more homework done and hopefully do some online homework now that I have the internet back.
Anyways, I have to go back and help with the cleanup, take care! :)

Oh, that sounds scary. Albeit, I like snow but too much of it can be really hard to deal with. I am glad to hear that the blizzard is over though and you and your family is safe. I hope that the city will get back to normal soon as well. I mean, getting your electricity back does sound like a really good first step.
I can imagine that going through such a storm had to be tough tho so I am glad to hear that you will have some time for yourself in the next few days with no school for the time being. Also, it does definitely sound like a good opportunity to catch up with school as well in this few extra days. Just make sure to not push yourself too hard and leave some time for self-care as well :)
