about college

now i am a freshman taking core classes so obviously im at the easiest point of college and it only gets harder. and depending on wat degree it can be way harder

but here is my experience and thoughts about college

its not hard as in "i cant even understand it i cant comprehend it, all this is way above my head". i think a 12 year old could learn all this stuff

its hard bc there's so much work and so many exams that are worth so much of ur grade. and its hard bc in highschool, u spend weeks on one chapter. in college, ur expected to know 2-3 chapters or more in a week and test on it. it just moves rlly fast

its not hard to understand it can just be busy especially if u have other repsobilities like jobs, kids, and stuff

it can be really hard to manage ur time and also to gather motivation to read all those damn chapters in those big azz books

but a good thing about college is u get way bigger deadlines. when i was in highschool homework was due the next day but here in college things are due in 3-5 days for me, or a lot more. like if its an essay or project u get a lot longer than that

so ur friend dwas just laughing at the dudes all day and not rlly talking

i get that way too where i wonder if im different than friends

I very half-azzed my response when you asked me about my day so I'll type out how it really was now lol. I've been here a lot today. I didn't talk to much people tho. attended some sharing circles, hosted one. my mom suddenly comes behind me to see what I am doing on my screen all day. I don't like that. it's like she's spying on me. anyway, the day was okay. just an hour ago my aunt visited and my dad starting complaining about my brother in front of them *facepalm* I mean there's a time and place for everything. my brother seemed hurt, my dad gets after him a lot. I feel bad for him.

my dad doesn't really shout at me, idk why. like, he never scolds me. my mom doesn't like that so she compensates for that lmao. so my brother was feeling bad again that my dad was only complaining about him so he said a few things about me, I mean saying how he doesn't say anything to me and such, also that he's much better than me in witing things. my dad likes my writing a lot and well, I am more of the talented one among us two (my bro and me), he's the smarter and knowledgeable one.

do you think the things words said in anger are true? or at least tell us what the person is really feeling?

so my brother is in his room now. my mom just said "never marry" to me and I'm just like ;-; so well, my dad was pretty okay. I wouldn't say it's been a bad one. stuff happens sometimes.

oh yeah, I think a lot of people are tall there. in India, people aren't as tall, I mean duh some obviously are but I hope you get my point. I look pretty short with everyone except kids but sometimes kids are taller than me, such a big flex lmao. you're still alright with your height :)

Livi is the cutest person ever \o/ \o/ everyone has to agree lol. she sounds cute, the way she bosses tall people. short people do be looking cute doing that. I get what you mean, she isn't being mean when she's bossy.

have you ever done anything illegal (only if you feel comfy sharing, I think you said you can't the same so I'm assuming you have)? smoking weed where i live is illegal and I've done that many times. drining alcohol under 21 is illegal I've done that, when i can get access to it. driving without a license or even a permit is illegal and both livi and i have done it (without getting caught). punching and hurting my mom is illegal but I've done that.. i got into a fight w/ a racist dude once. i think going to work while drunk or high is illegal, or at least prohibited but I've done it

what are you currently studying? i didn't come to college with a degree in mind. i came here bc i was forced to come here right after highschool otherwise i would lose all of my financial aid. so im keeping my options open and not sure. i only plan to attend college as long as the fafsa covers me for, which is 2 years

are you allergic to anything? not rlly. pineapples and kiwi give ma slight rash on my tongue but its nothing bad. and my cat at times makes me have mucous in my throat but i wouldn't rlly call these allergies just irritants.. i don't have any type of severe allgery

1. when ppl deflect. defelcting is a tactic toxic ppl do in which they are rude to u but they try to manipulate ur mind and deflect the blame onto u. u can tell ppl are doing this when u just tell them how they made u feel and they bring out their list of excuse and find a way to blame u for it all.

2. ppl who threaten to end the relationship when an argument arises. that's another tactic toxic ppl use. when ppl threaten to leave me over sumthing dumb it makes me keep my distance with them, or end the relationship myself in order to avoid getting abandoned again

3. ppl who blatantly disrepect me and dont understand why their actions are wrong

4. ppl who are racist. i dont think that one needs explaining

5. ppl who dont know how to conversate and they reply to every text with sum boring azz dry reply like "lol". and they dont put effort

are you religious? No. I think there's very likely a god out there and an afterlife though but i dont have any strong belief. i just believe be nice to ppl and that's like my religion. i just dont call myself christain bc there's things christain ppl think that i dont agree with so. i just dont like to label myself like that

what's something you most want in your life? hmm. i want to look back when im old and think "that was a good life" i want to have had fun and have ppl who loved me. and i want to have helped people and made a change for the better in this world

I would have changed my parents. there's a lot of cool childhood things i missed out on. i wouldn't have made my dad a rapist, abuser and criminal. i wouldn't have made my mom be a rude toxic abuser. i woulda given myself nice parents who actually love me

i also would would take back some awful things I've done in the past bc ppl call me nice sure, but i feel like a fake/phony bc i look back at things i did and think well if they knew wat i did, would they not like me anymore? i feel ashamed

what's the best thing or like your favourite thing you like to do in your free time? talk to rlly awesome people, like you. talk to my gf. i think that's it. my favorite thing to do is talk to ppl, its rlly fun. if there was no ppl in the world besides me then that would be so boring.

my second fav thing to do is eat food lol. my third fav thing to do is do fun things like youtube watch show play vid games, or listen to music

what's your most unforgettable moment/memory? when i met livi in middle school! it wasn't an important memory to me back then bc livi and i barely knew each other. we weren't friends. we became friends very slowly after being in classes together year after year. but its still cool to think back when i used to be her classmate.

another memory to me is when my dad helf a g.un to my mom when i was a kid. i remember that Christian came in the room scared telling me that our mom was gonna d.ie. i went and peeked out and saw her crying and stuff. i told him to stop and get away from her and he told us to go back in our room. i wonder if my mom is traumatized from that. i wonder if i should have warned her there was a gu/n in her drawer

even tho i dont like my mom, so what. it was still a scary moment to me. especially being a kid. and no im not traumatized from it. i dont think about it

yes but also no. i think things said in anger are what ppl think but very exaggerated. i think ppl when angry don't think straight and exaggerate their emotions. for example angry ppl are more likely to use all or nothing thinking. "you NEVER do this for me." "you ALWAYS do that" usually things said in anger have some bit of truth to it but they are just exxagerting it. that's my opinion. what do you think?
