Quote of the Day- My Favorite Songs
I'd been posting quotes from my favorite songs that I found motivational, inspiring, or just fun while the feed was still around. So, since it's not around I'd like to start quoting my favorites again!
Please feel free to join in on the fun, but don't post the words to entire songs.
Here's an example:
You've haunted me in colors I've never seen. I feel strange and unprotected, but I'm weightless like I'm falling on the moon. I'm falling slow for you. - "Manta Rays" by Ludo
All talk and not a lot to think, we are living dreams. And shame never crept close to our naked feet. If there's something left to lose. Then don't let me wear out my shoes. I'm still walking.
- "Dizzy" by Jimmy Eat World
You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I'm made o
f glass
Like I'm made of paper
Go on and try to tear me down
I will be rising from the ground
Like a skyscraper,like a skyscraper
- Skyscraper by Demi Lovato

OMG I LOVE THT SONG!
@tinycactus809
Yeah me too... It's so powerful 💕
And I wouldn't lie. I never really wanted more than what I ever really needed after all. Someone that hates to see me go.
- "How It's Going To Be" by Gerard Way
I'm through accepting limits
'Cause someone says they're so
Some things I cannot change
But 'til I try, I'll never know!
Too long I've been afraid of
Losing love I guess I've lost
Well, if that's love
It comes at much too high a cost!

am i the only one who hears Rachel from Glee singing this song, while reading the lyrics?
I had a thousand bad times, so what's another time to me? You tried to burn my house down, but what's another house to me? 'Cause I can take anything that you give me -- it's gonna take a lot more to kill me, bitch. So thank you for the grave, I needed me a place to sleep.
I'm a stitch away from making it. And a scar away from falling apart.
- "The (After) Life of the Party" by Fall Out Boy
"You've got to get better." Said, "It's all in your head." We could live through these letters, or forget it altogether. See the months they don't matter. Its the days I can't take. When the hours move to minutes and I'm seconds away.
- "New American Classic" by Taking Back Sunday
Beneath that stormy morning sky, those corny joggers jogging by. We stood like statues in the street, the traffic backing up for miles.Your heart was permanent pressed to mine, the streets were clean, the socks were dry. I held you like I'd lost and found you, hitching hikers had their guide. Our lips were heavens opened up, you fit like coffee to my cup. Through galaxies of apple trees, you were my first clean love.
- "Laundry Girl" by Ludo. A love song that mostly takes place in a Laundromat.
I was aching, breaking down. The bluest guy the blues had found. You came, you gave me Butter Pecan. You let me ramble on and on. When we walked down the street. My heart you would steal. With Ewoks on T.V. I knew it was real.
- "Sara's Song" by Ludo
Is there anyone there listening while you cry, cry, cry? Always a reason for the pain. I'm doing the things I've been told every day, every day, every day. Then why does it feel like I'm moving in place, in place, in place? I gotta believe that you're there when I sing, when I sing, when I sing. 'Cause if you're not real, I'm losing my head, in my head, in my head.
- "555" by Jimmy Eat World
