Exploring!

kimchikaz February 25th

What kind of music do you guys listen to?

Im exploring new genres, could you drop your favourite genre or a favourite song of yours?

@kimchikaz

I think I like a little bit of everything hehe, not too limited in my choices either.

Sure some recommendations:

♡ Steal the show by Lauv

♡ All we know by The Chainsmokers

♡ Taylor Swift  (this should be a genre in itself lol)

Okay, this literally feels like I've forgotten every single song I've ever heard. :0 Will share more later maybe hehe.

How about you though, what are some of your recent favorites?

Jazz

Some of my favorite genres are blues, folk, 70's classic rock, motown, acapella, opera, hip-hop/country, musicals, big band & swing, J-rock/pop, bluegrass, gaming & anime soundtracks, and world music.

Interested in any of these? Ask me anything!

@kimchikaz

I love it when people ask me this question because I can go on and on about my love for music. I mainly listen to metal, ambient, goth, and emo music, but it varies. I have been listening to a lot of 2814, Chemlab, Joy Division, and Tubeway Army recently.

I listen to a lot of different genres- 80's, 90's Old skool, 90's R&B, Freestyle, 2000's, K Pop, Alternative, Rock, etc. The best album of all time is "Indigo" by RM (Kim Namjoon of BTS). Other artists I listen to regularly are: Weathers, Waterpark, The Offspring, Linkin Park (Chester Benington will always be one of the best singers!), BTS, Thirty Seconds to Mars, etc.

@koficaaaaa

Dubstep is totally what's up if you're into hearing...

Wub.. wub.. wub wub wub SKrrrt WUB WUB WUB WUB!! skRRT wub WUB.

(It's me, I'm into it, lol)

Not gonna lie though, it's a special genre not like anything else. When the mood is right, nothing can replace a hot dubstep track. Haha!

I was surprised to listen to dubstep and realize I actually like it! Lol

Try Wompa by Fonik… It’s mixed dubstep with something old-school which you would never expect! And it sounds great <3

I really liked "Iraaday"! I'd never heard it before. Can you list a few other songs from the same genre that you like? Also, if I was looking into the south Indian hip-hop, does the genre have a particular name that I could search for? Even better if you have recommendations. :) Thanks for sharing!

Abdul hannan and rovalio- raabta

Mitraz - lakh koshish

Mitraz - maajra

Mitraz - saajna

Mitraz - mehroom

Mitraz - mehboob

Panther - aisi jagah se

They're like Indian vocals, emotions with a backing up western style vocal editings, guitar, beats that makes them a unique genre. There only few releases. I mean there so many but I don't like most of it. These tracks are latest releases and the last track is also new and its a rap genre but it isn't too aggressive so I added to the playlist.

Maybe if I get enough listening in, YouTube will algorithm more for me. I'm sure the genre will grow with new artists since it's got great sound. :)
